"Butch Jones may have had his struggles at the P5 level with Tennessee, but in my experience with him he treated all of his players exactly the same and held them all to the same standards. It didn't matter if you were a walk-on or an All-American recruit. To him, you both wore the same color jersey. He truly believes that the best players play and will pull for you and push for you to do better. You will want to work hard for Butch. He will bench you when you don't perform and take his chance on unproven athletes in order to make a point for you to fight for your job back. The depth chart is always open. You must perform in practice to earn playing time and he doesn't give people sympathy minutes to anyone. "

"Former athlete of Coach Duvall. I will start this review by saying that he is a decent coach, but he has little to no real coaching background at a high level. Most of his training methods are outdated and not scientific at all. Also will write workouts he knows his athletes can’t achieve, and is clueless enough to wonder why so many of his athletes have major injuries. He is a spineless individual who cares about nothing besides his measley “sunbelt” coach of the year awards. If you are not performing, this coach will not care about you. Coach Duvall and Patchell also harass athletes and threaten them when you consider transferring schools. "
