"Maybe not a knock on Coach but just how immature she is and how she lies. She used to talk about a coaching staff in our conference about how awkward, weird, and sketchy an age gap was between the HC and Assistant. We used to joke with her if that she would work for an older male... response was ALWAYS, if I knew them already or they were a relative/family friend. She is now working for a guy almost double her age BUT remember the previous posts, her end goal is to move up in the coaching ranks by any means necessary. FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT MILLIAN JILLER! WE SEE YOU!"

"If you care about your daughter and want her to progress as a student-athlete please do not send them to TMU for women's basketball. Lacks basic knowledge of basketball and acts more like her student-athletes than a coach. Could not run a JV practice unsupervised; DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO TMU for women's basketball! Campbellsville, Georgetown, Cumberlands, Pikeville, Ashland, Kentucky Wesleyan all better teams and options for women's basketball. TMU might be a great academic school but horrible coaches. You HAVE BEEN WARNED. "

"An absolutely fake person and coach! You can do enough research and hear enough about a person once they are no longer around. Would not recommend someone of her character to work with student-athletes if they don't even know who they are as a person. Claimed to us to be a perfect angel and never got involved in any nonsense. Was a party girl at John Carroll, not like she was playing on the basketball team or getting any relevant playing time like she told us. Don't worry we as players did our own research. Was a closet partier at our school, don't worry it was a small community. Anyone that cannot be true to themselves and has to be on a persona to be someone they are not is mentally unstable and unpredictable. Should not be coaching within collegiate athletics. "

"Extremely immature, lacks honesty, and unprofessional. Spoke negatively about our Head Coach to other coaches, her family, and people in the community. Consistently cried to us as players about how much time with family she missed and how she wanted to go home but yet all of us were away from our families in different states. We are young adults still learning but were having to boost her up to want to stay and coach for the remainder of each season she was here. She will victimize herself to move up in the basketball industry and wants people to feel sorry for her to gain support. We wanted her to be our coach and we thought she actually cared but unfortunately she was more of a glorified secretary that enjoyed male attention more than coaching us. If you most coaches when they switch jobs, they thank their previous school, head coach, etc. Take notice, she never thanks anyone that helped her move up, ATHLETES PAY ATTENTION, even we know don't burn bridges as we work in an industry. She never thanked any of her seniors, players or said she would miss us, didn't thank the head coach or administration. That should tell you enough about her to understand her goal as a coach. "

"I did not know that coaches switched it up the way Coach Miller switched up. You talk negatively about someone, (we do not need to go into detail but we heard enough that you know joining the staff is an absolutely sellout move. You even would mention the terrible things that individual said about other players and their OWN coaching staff, and imagine that, you join that coaching staff. SWITCHED UP AND SHADY MILLER. You will never have our respect, from your former players! "

"A sellout is someone who compromises their personal values, integrity, or beliefs in exchange for personal gain, often financial. They abandon their principles or betray their cause for money, fame, or other advantages. To provide some additional context, someone who is not honest prioritizes their own agenda or interests over providing genuine transparency. The name of the coach being rated is Jillian Miller and we just described who she really is. We are loyal to our coaches but loyalty is a two way street. If you are going to speak negatively about our team and program to other people they should know the truth about you. She would sell her soul to anyone that shows interest or tells her they will move her up to the Division 1 Level. Poor Interactions with Players - Consistently would treat players differently, not equally accountable. Would yell at you to your face and then go hug another player right after. Liar - Would consistently speak to us about being honest and a good person but then would speak negatively about other coaches or who to stay away from, then you would see her interact with those coaches in person or on social media. (ie. Pineapples Coach Miller?) Will consistently cry out wrong doing or play the victim role but somehow put herself back in a victim situation. Knowledge - Does not have any of her own basketball knowledge! We are anxious to see all the information she stole from our Head Coach and how their team plays this season. "

"This information is for both coaches at Thomas More, Brian Neal and Jillian Miller. As a parent, I believe honesty goes an extremely long way. I am not going to provide too much information but when a player is recruited to your University and you mention as the Head Coach your care for the players and the positive faith based culture you have established for 25+ years, you expect that to be the case. Relationships amongst student-athletes happen but not in a manner that is disruptive to the overall culture that you claimed to establish. Then when that information is brought to your attention, you threaten that individual and I quote, "if you speak with other schools, you will be cut". Two days later Brian Neal resigned and took a position at another University. Now you are willing to cut a player because they want a better situation but you are doing the exact same thing. PARENTS BEWARE, this coach was once a Division I coach, so he knows the tricks of the trade but be sure to ask him on your recruiting visits about how he handles team culture. Small world, we had a playing friend who mentioned she would be attending Ave Maria University, was recruited by the Director of Scouting and then Jillion Miller from my understanding took the lead. The family communicated their pros and cons and the most important question was, how long do you plan to remain at the school. Once again, I quote, "We have a lot of unfinished business with this senior class, I am looking forward to winning a championship". The student-athletes mother than explains to me that her daughter had been trying to communicate with Coach Miller since May and never received a response, not even a courtesy to mention she had taken another position. Now we fully understand coaches need to do what's best for them but don't sell lies if you are actively looking to move places. Both of our daughters are now attending a school for a coach who is no longer working within that University but luckily we choose for the entire school and not their specific sport. "

"It says, Discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly. As a former player for Coach Miller, Coach Moorehead, Coach Hawkins Coach McBride and Coach Belli at Ave Maria University over three seasons so I will discuss that very thing; the good, bad, and ugly about Jillian or Miller as we called her. She is what many would describe as a chameleon, Coach Moorehead was a low-key dictator but did a decent job with his staff and Coach Hawkins was generally knowledgable about basketball but ALWAYS lost and disorganized. Coach Miller being the female coach is one that we would normally gravitate to but she is one who can adapt and adjust to her surroundings to fit to what she needs to survive. In my three years as a player the number of times I can count that she fit to her environment instead of being genuine and honest would be every single day. Miller consistently discussed with us the importance of being a good person, honest, and true to yourself. She would often tell us in our individual meetings how important it was to "seize the day" and be "where your feet are", how it was "by the grace of God" that our HC (Alex Moorehead) brought her to coach collegiately at Ave Maria. Let me just explain how looking back on it now we understand she only used every single one of us to attempt to advance her career. When "Miller" first recruited me she told me that the level of play (NAIA) did not matter and that our team is a family, she was adamant that she would remain through a recruiting cycle, even go as far as stating, "I am here as long as Coach Moorehead will have me", fast forward three years later and from what we know she made a decision without being offered a position to now be the coach at Thomas More. She decided that our family did not measure up to what she had not been offered. Imagine my feeling when you hear every day to be honest and upfront with those around you that my assistant coach, female assistant for that matter left the program. Let me also add that this individual DID NOT say goodbye to us, IGNORED OUR MESSAGES, and the relationships she claims she wants, she has NOT spoken a word about faith and becoming a mature young woman, like she spoke about while she was here. The hilarious part about this entire scenario is that Coach Miller was the LEAST KNOWLEDGABLE coach we had on staff. She never knew or drew a play my entire playing career there and was fortunate enough that her and Coach Moorehead were legitimately best friends. I remember when she ran our film session one time and she spoke 5-8 minutes after every single clip, so what was supposed to be a full game film review for an hour turned into 8-10 clips that took around 1.5 hours. Any time she was given the opportunity or chance to show her capability as a coach, she would argue with Coach Moorehead about it. She had the chance to coach our exhibition game this last year, we hear her accusing Coach Moorehead of planning to leave because why else would she allow her to coach a game. Let it be known that exhibition games DO NOT count and we play FGCU every year and their HC let's their assistant do the same thing for exhibition games.... must be a trend? WELL let me tell you one distinct feature you will see she will not argue about is how Coach Miller went from "lacking confidence" on the court with basketball to having no shame in showing off her confidence towards male coaches and showing off her bottom half. The dressing the part and presenting yourself in a respectful manner did not pertain to her as you will see from the tight short shorts and leggings she will consistently wear without covering up. If you think someone on these posts is lying, please just wait until students return for the Fall and if you all discuss her ability as a coach or her looks instead. You will see very quickly why she was selected as a coach for the Thomas More staff, please ask any of her former players if she knew what she was doing as a basketball coach, watch her demonstrate a drill and tell me that her new boss selected her for her coaching ability or was he interested in something else? I will leave this last event for you to make your judgement, our entire team is made up of players from all different states and backgrounds, Coach Miller rarely ever discussed with some of the better players on the team, she consistently would get onto them for sometimes absolutely nothing but she enjoyed players lower in the rotation, treated them better than anyone else even when they would make mistakes. Now if you can locate her from her time "playing" at John Carroll, her D3 school in Ohio, you will find out why, she RARELY ever stepped foot on the actual basketball court. She will tell you though that she played for a D1 coach and helped her team win a championship. Once again like I said fitting into the environment. The amount of connection, respect, loyalty, and care for us as players is 0. She got a coaching award this year and never once thanked any of us, she now thinks she is better than the players that made her career. She left us as fast as Kim Kardashian finds husbands. I wish Jillian Miller well because the way she left our program, my teammates, and program was BS for someone that claimed to loyalty and to care for us and people wonder why athletes jump in the portal.
