"Too old, needs to retire. Stuck on his 2001-2002 team that made it to NCAA's. Doesn't believe in positive re-enforcement, only negative--direct quote from him. Seriously injures his athletes and is going senile. Emotionally berates his athletes on a daily basis. 10/10 would not recommend. Also, doesn't take recruits so don't bother. "

"Doesn't coach well. He sits in a launch from far away from our boat and just watches with no comments. When he wants to tell us something he yells and claps and it is not enjoyable. He is not personable and he does not try to have a relationship with his rowers. He can be rude and puts people down. "

"He doesn't care about his female athletes. He puts practice before academics. He claps at us to get our attention, like dogs. Rude and disrespectful to our coxswain. Doesn't coach on the water, drives the launch as far away from the boat as possible and only yells at the coxswain when he wants something. Never gives the rowers advice or any coachin"
