"If you look at Joanie‘s record she has a 0.3 winning percentage. After a certain amount of years, do you know it’s not the players fault. Her pride gets the best of her and the players suffer. The assistant coaches are the only good thing about Villanova field hockey. She is past her prime and needs to step down if she truly cares about VUFH."
"Was so awful starting with recruiting. Leaves you hanging for a while, horrible with communication. Totally plays favorites and if you aren’t one of her favorites, she will take her frustration out on you. Forgetful about anyone other than the starters. If you are a starter, expects you to do everything. Not a good coach and does not address mental health whatsoever "
"Not knowledgeable of the sport, did not evolve with her coaching styles as the game evolved over the years. Picks favorites and does not give players equal chances to learn and grow"
"Actual worst coach I’ve ever had. Lies to you all the time and does not care about girls. Says she does but only cares about numbers of girls she has on team and who can score goals. Will hire coaches younger than her that are brand new so that she always has control. Has had multiple assistants over the last few years, goes through them fast. Toxic program and coaching style that needs to change in the future. Do not play FH at Villanova. "
