"Not what it sounded like in the recruiting phone call. Promised much more playing time that he gave. Doesn't treat all players equally, shows little acknowledgement, communication and respect towards players with low minutes. Talented players don't play as much. He is not a friendly source to talk to. Barely cares about our personal life and/or academics. Brings players' confidence down and makes it hard for them to develop/succeed. Practices aren't fun unless you are in the starting eleven, and he often leaves players just watching parts of practice. 15+ players transferred already in less than a year. His playing style is very direct and more defensive-based."
"Do your research - all his assistant coaches have left over the last 2- 3 years, and many players leave every year. Do your homework, it is not a good environment and the team culture suffers because of it. He has a poor reputation with coaches in and around the region and isn’t respected by his players. "
