"The current team is much happier without the former juniors that caused so many problems, hazed the players to the point of Title IX infractions and bullied them through the last season. They continue to blame the underclassmen and are mean and threatening to them even though they chose to leave the team. They continue to act like this is middle school instead of college. Makes you wonder if they were born as bullies or taught to be bullies. Kelly chose to cut her losses and move on away from them. Everyone else was happy they quit. "

"Kelly deserved to be let go. Unfortunately this years 1 win 7 loss team that gives up 4 goals α game (unheard of in college soccer even in D3) couldn’t let go of the freshman and especially the sophomores. And the parents lol. Put them all together and you get a 1-7 team with a set of parents that would destroy the team chemistry of the 1927 Yankees. What a bunch of troublemaking and bullying parents who need to look in the mirror. The biggest bullies of all. And now unfortunately this team is paying for the spoiled whiny parents from hell. Good luck new coach . "

"Kelly is a good coach that gave so much to her players. She was put in a tough position and had to make some hard decisions regarding her team. The players made bad choices and felt like they should not be held accountable. So, they and their parents left bad reviews about her. Typical of the young adults that think nothing they do deserves consequences. Those that remain on campus continue to bully others. "

"Kelly Bryan is a toxic and incompetent soccer coach. I was discriminated against for medical disabilities and for opening up about my mental health. She carelessly cut the two most dedicated members of her team, just so she could find someone to blame for her negligence. I even began the process of filing a title ix complaint about kelly, that’s how hurt I was by her. She was a detriment to Kenyon College and the women’s soccer program. It’s a blessing she’s gone. "

"This team just lost a teammate due to an unexpected death. What kind of vine, despicable parents would get on this site and trash their fellow teammates parents and kids after such a tragedy? You say kb is the only chance our kids have of being a decent human being? Your kids never even asked anyone on the team how they were doing after this death. That is a result of bad parenting. These kids were all victims of abuse from kb. You honestly think she just resigned after a massive investigation that they researched going back several years? You must be stupid also. Maybe she spent so much time giving into your kids that whined about and cried about everything because she knew how toxic you all were to the team. Maybe if you opened your eyes you would have seen the warning signs that we did. Maybe the only way your kids would play more is by getting others thrown off the team. I am a good person and brought up a good kid. They all made mistakes whether you want to believe it or not , so did your kids but you wouldn’t believe that."

"I never post to these things but after reading the delusional comments posted by a select few disgusting freshman and sophomore parents attacking young college student athletes I can’t keep quiet. First of all Kelly was a bad coach. She was mentally and verbally abusive and was investigated and resigned. The evidence going back years was overwhelming The problems that plagued this team really started with certain sophomore and freshman players and parents who continued cultivating to record levels their spoiled and self centered selfish attitudes they displayed their entire lives as soon as they arrived. Too good to carry out practice equipment . Oh poor babies. Too good to act like a good teammate and not a spoiled cry baby. Oh poor babies. Boobooo I didn’t start. Poor babies. Too good to do drills the proper way. Poor whiny baby.. Felony hazing ? One of stupidest comments ever. Some clueless and entitled whiny big mouthed cupcake freshman / sophomore parents disrupted this team just like they did to their high school teams ( yea we heard all about it ) and everyone knows it. I wasted enough time on them. They are a cancer . A senior player tragically passes away and all these scum can do is post garbage about her teammates. I’ve had it. "

"Kelly Bryan was the “fall guy” for Kenyon’s flagrant institutional failure that occurred after their findings of the hazing culture of the Kenyon Women’s soccer team. Shame on Kenyon, not on Kelly Bryan. The hazing that occurred on the Kenyon Women’s soccer team was humiliating and destructive and was justified by many of the older team members as “tradition and ritual”, a classic response that explains why hazing continues today. Many of this year’s juniors and seniors were the perfect combination of toxic— manipulative, power hungry and unkind, leaving the younger players vulnerable, impressionable and exposed. The institution of Kenyon failed all of these young women, including Kelly Bryan and her staff. It was Kenyon’s responsibility to hold individuals accountable for their actions; actions that were in direct violation of Kenyon’s code of conduct as stated in their student handbook. Instead, Kenyon hid behind arbitrary team sanctions and Title IX bureaucracy and brazenly handed the smoking gun to Kelly. Kenyon kept Kelly in the dark for far too long, making it nearly impossible for her to successfully navigate the program out of a challenging situation— and making her a sitting duck for entitled, clueless parents. Any individual, parent, player or coach who doesn’t acknowledge the women’s soccer team’s hazing culture is either uninformed or part of the problem. Kelly is a passionate coach. Her biggest mistake was the boundary she held with the players’ happenings off the field, shielding herself from some harsh realities of the team dynamic. The opportunity to build something special for this program lies with the new hire, the individuals who remain on the team, and a recognition that positive change is not only possible but necessary. Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better and due to Kenyon’s institutional failure, Kelly Bryan won’t be a part of this opportunity. "

"I've known Kelly Bryan for over 20 years. The nasty comments posted here are from parents of players who committed felony-level hazing and got caught. They are mad because their precious little darlings are being held accountable for abhorrent behavior that they, as parents, should be refereeing. Kelly, and other college coaches, are collateral damage in the spineless choices of parents who fail their kids then pass them onto to others to 'fix.' Grow up mom and dad. Kelly Bryan was your daughter's best chance at being a good human. But you clearly wouldn't know what a good human is."

"The players do not like this coach. Even the players that play 90 percent of the time would rate her poorly. She is deceptively charming when she recruits players-she talks about the players as "her daughters" Well, she does not treat her daughters well. She has fostered a toxic environment on the team and is not sensitive to cultural or gender issues. The AD is complicit -the players have been asking for help for years and she does nothing... Avoid this coach-go play at another D3 school with a winning record. "

"Coach Bryan is a master recruiter but a terrible coach. My daughter has found her to be disrespectful and dismissive of players concerns. This has been in relation to players mental health. She has also been insensitive to players from diverse backgrounds. Players have approached the AD with their concerns and nothing has happened. The school should be ashamed. My advice protect your daughter and her love of the game. Play at another school and don’t listen to her sales pitch. "

"Kelly Bryan is probably the worst coach I have ever encountered at any level, in any sport. If you care about soccer, don’t come to Kenyon. If you want to have fun playing soccer, don’t come to Kenyon. If you enjoy a petty, vindictive atmosphere that strives for mediocrity - Kenyon is the place for you and you are going to love Kelly Bryan. The fact that this coach has had her job for decades shows that Kenyon doesn’t care about women’s soccer. Kenyon should be embarrassed. "

"Coach Bryan puts her heart and soul into the Kenyon Women's Soccer program. She promotes a supportive atmosphere; all of the players are unbelievably dedicated to the team and each other. During my four years, seniority had a role in who received the most playing time. I've been told Coach Bryan has gotten better at not giving older players priority just because of seniority. Expect minimal subbing (pretty much at any college)."
