The only people that support this place is either people that went here and just think it’s the greatest school ever. Or people that live in Russellville Arkansas. So I’m not sure people you bring in saying that this team “is doing all the right things” has any sort of credibility saying this. Considering the fact your football team sucks, and every other team is mid in the worst conference in D2 college sports. "I've waited a long time to post a review on here... mostly because the trauma I experienced being in this program has taken me years now to recover from and as I move into my adult life I still struggle from triggers and things that happened to me while under the "care" of Kera Dukic-Coleman. I wish I would've read past the lies and deception when she sat there and looked me and my family in the eyes at my visit and said id be safe there because my whole life was ruined... my confidence ruined... my body ruined... my love for the game is gone I do not wish to ever play or touch a ball for my own self desires ever again. I tried to self harm while in this program and am so grateful to be alive today. She attacked me and my character and I spent a whole season protecting others from her egotistical retaliatory toxic god complex personality. Sometimes the girls who never understood why the lot of us who disliked Coach Kera so much will one day when they are out from under her control that maybe she was as bad as we made her out to be. some of us just weren't as willing to play her games just to get court time or be treated like a human being versus abusing us.I mean go back and look at prior rosters she's had she's lost almost more than half of her players every year... even after a championship season she loses her whole roster to the portal. and some quit. they are 1-9 now... for tech's sake I pray they can turn it around for the better but a second single digit wins season you'd think the school would reevaluate her position at that point. what's truly best for tech here? the president just got fired lets hope some one comes in who's unwavering in their desire for this school academically and athletically to be staffed by people who genuinely want to curate a place where young girls can grow into great woman. and not that the girls who've lived and been through the trauma havent ended up being some of the most strong and amazing woman and leaders and can share their experiences to help others but man it wouldve been nice to not have all this pain and hurt for years on after... "1-9 for this season so far... Ouch. Now that I no longer play for kera I enjoy sitting back, eating my bag of popcorn, and enjoy watching her scramble. She made me feel so small as a person, a player, and a teammate. Nothing is ever enough for her. She still stalks past players too on social media, yet acts like she’s so much better than you and is above all. She’s manipulative, controlling, and a liar. She still try’s to control players by emailing future or current coaches because she can’t handle that the reason why people leave this program is because of HER! I’ll tell you ATU is a great school, has great teachers, and a great Colosseum to play in. One thing the school is missing is a great volleyball coach. Will this be another year where she sits the team down and tells them she’s gonna get fired because they aren’t winning and it’s the teams fault? Or will kera take responsibility for once and realize she’s the problem? I’m gonna assume she’s gonna blame it on the team because that’s the type of coach she is:) anyways can’t wait to tune in for this weeks matches! "She plays her favorites end of story. And then when her favorites aren’t doing good she will throw you in third set and expects you to be huge game changer. Cycle repeats. If you aren’t her favorite don’t expect to to gain any time on the court. She will continuously play her favorites even if they don’t perform. You may be on the court one season then riding the bench next. Even when she tells you in meetings you will be playing next season and gives you more money. Don’t fall for it. "

"Recruits it’s coming that time to make a tough decision. I was In your shoes once. When I took my visit to Tech & came to the camp it seemed like butterflies & rainbows. Coach Coleman tells your exactly what you want to hear, she will be overly positive with you & to anyone she interacts with. Please please please do not fall for it like I did. It was the worst semester of my life. There were points I even contemplated just ending it all. I know that seems a bit extreme but I felt like I was literally in asylum. She has such a good way of isolating your from friends and family. I am behind thankful I got out while I could. I’m sure she treads even more carefully because, if this review page. But she cannot help herself. She will always resort back to some type of narcissistic behavior at some point. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not come here. This is coming from a player that got out while they were a freshman. If you don’t don’t believe any of the reviews please just take mine inconsideration. "Kera is like a high school girl that never grew up. She is immature, and does not know how to coach a team (at any level). No amount of management seminars will help this woman be better because she is so focused on the wrong things. She CHOOSES to ignore most of her roster (she recruits heavy but only plays very few) and basically treats the girls that she chooses as royalty and as if they can do no wrong. She likes to recruit heavy because she wants to play her select few and then have a cheer squad on the sidelines cheering for the “in crowd”. Imagine how fun that was. The girls she chose to be a part of her “in crowd” were no better, they would only hang out in that crowd and exclude the rest of the team… this teams motto should literally be DIVISION. This past season our record was 8-22 or some crap like that… you know why it was like that? Because she wanted to keep her posse on the court… high school crap and no way to run a collegiate sports team. She RARELY took them off, even in preseason so if you were thinking you’d have a chance to prove yourself you don’t. She does not care about your talent, she will look lightly at that when recruiting but if you aren’t a mean girl like her then you won’t get to play in a game when it comes to it. She chose to blame the losses on this review site… not on the fact that she was playing girls that 1) weren’t cut out for college volleyball & 2) did not work well on the court together. I cannot tell you how many “meetings” we had after games filled with her chewing us out over the fact that the review site was the problem and the sideline cheer squad (the “party pit” because we’re not allowed to call it anything different) was the problem. She literally would not hold the people ON THE COURT accountable. I was dumbfounded to say the least. This program is broken, do not waste your time here. The only way it will be fixed is if this woman is fired but she won’t be because Abby Davis (athletic director) has covered for her many times. There are so many other things that I could say, but the main thing that should steer you away is the fact that she treats her team like we’re all in high school again. I’m sorry you never grew up Kera but some of us did, maybe it’s time for you to reflect and do better but I know you won’t. "
"The Arkansas Tech Volleyball Team winning the GAC in 2021 was because of the recruiting and coaching efforts of Chris Nook - the Asst Coach at ATU in 2021. Coach Nook handled 90% of the recruiting and he was a very technical coach. His scouting reports were top notch. He put together the ATU team that won 2021 GAC and some of his recruits are still on the roster today (2023) but the majority of them graduated out of the program or transfered out of the program. Chris Nook left ATU in 2021 and now Coach Kera is 100% in charge of everything from recruiting and the technical advising, scouting, etc. She does not have the volleyball IQ for this and as the years pass without a good solid coaching foundation (that Chris Nook originally brought), this program will continue to decline. Coach Kera is not qualified to be a head coach for an NCAA D2 program. She lacks the training and knowledge to run a successful program. This program will continue to decline under the direction of Kera Dukic Coleman. "
"I am a pretty strong headed player that can put up with a lot but one thing that stuck with me that Coach Kera did that was completely uncalled for was keeping players in the bus after a game. We had lost to Harding and went to subway after. She preceded to make everyone get off the bus except for three players. She even made the assistant get off. She asked these girls who she should keep on the team and who she should kick off. She also asked who she could trust or not. How inappropriate right? The players she said she was kicking off or couldn’t trust are all players that thankfully are not with her cultish program anymore but one player is still on that team currently. She said one player was a mean girl, a bully, how she was uncoachable, and she was kicking her off. Thankfully the one girl talked coach into not doing that. The rest of the players, the assistant coach, and the trainer all waited in subway for over 45 minutes. The subway workers were upset because they were closed and we had to stay in there because she wouldn’t let anyone listen to her convo on the bus. Don’t believe this review? There was a recording of the whole convo. Thankfully one of the girls recorded the whole conversation and a handful of us players heard everything. I wanted to keep this to myself but after seeing review after review and seeing poor players that are still with her program even after she dogged them to other teammates I had to speak up. It’s such a sad situation.
Kera is gonna tell you none of this happened. Ur reach out. A lot of us players that are not with the program have a lot of things documented such as voice recordings and videos. A group of us are currently gathering all info to send to the GAC committee since, Abby Davis does not want to hold this individual accountable for their poor actions. "
"I am not sure why nobody is checking into the volleyball situation at ATU. The Spring 2023 Roster has people dropping off it like crazy. Why? Coach Kera would like to tell you it's because of injuries, etc. BUT the truth is way different. One player is an education major and Coach Kera won't work with her class schedule so she can play. Can you imagine? Teachers are in short supply accross the US and Coach Kera will not accomodate her schedule and it's not like she is student teaching. She has regular class schedule and Coach Kera will not work with the times. WHY does the administration allow this? The student facility advisors are so frustrated with Coach Kera because she is so difficult to work with and is not cooperative at all. Coach Kera is not a morning person so she wants practices in the afternoon. Which is fine if that would be 5PM or 6PM but NO.... that's Happy Hour for ole' Coach. So practices are like 3PM in the afternoon which is so messed up when trying to schedule classes. I don't understand WHY she is still allowed to continue with her drama and nonsense. "

"I am a former player and I was GAC Setter of the Year back in my time. Then Coach Kera took over the program in 2018. She was a setter herself at ATU back during her time on campus. Coach Kera was so threatened by me that she wanted to run me off so that I couldn't beat her school records. She was jealous and manipulative. She would bench me for some crazy excuss but it was all because she didn't want me on the floor playing and taking away her spot for school records. If you are setter in volleyball, be careful when looking to play at ATU under the direction of Coach Kera. "
"Are we still required to return to campus on July 1, 2023? I have seen some positive changes out of this review website. This review website has been a tremendous help to us ATU athletes because the ATU Athletic Dept does not check on us or care enough about us to even reach out and ask if we are ok. This past year with this Coach Kera and the girls on this team has been the worst. The only way we can voice our concerns and see any type of changes is with this website. So what are we doing with the summer return to campus schedule? Football is different than volleyball and we should not be made to return to campus on July 1st. Is someone at ATU Administration going to do something about this? Is this an NCAA violation? Please help. Thank you "
"I find It very funny Kera “claims” she is in the loop with social media and knows all the ins and outs. But Is is not smart enough to know that we can see when she stalks our social media pages on her personal and burner accounts as well. My first question is who paying for her “SportsRecruits” account? I’m going to guess the school. Well in that case, why is she aloud to use the schools time and money to view players that are no longer with her program. She has not only viewed their accounts not once but numerous times. She has viewed mine and a few other of my former teammates profiles a handful of times in just the past few weeks. Kera how about you use your time to actually get some recruiting done instead of STALKING our pages like a creep. We don’t need another repeat like last season lol. My other issue is she has been attempting to stalk our other social media pages numerous times. We could give two shits about your program and what you are doing. Please do the same and move on. Or at-least get up to date on how social media works ;) "
"I hear that everyone at ATU is reading this website. Therefore, this is a message to the ATU athletic administration - are you going to force us to come back to campus right after July 4th? I think Coach Kera has adjusted the calendar to July 10th but why can't we report back by July 17th? I understand that ATU pays for our housing and for one 3 hour class for the summer session BUT I would prefer to work my summer job for an extra couple of weeks as I get paid $20 an hour as a CNA. I am a nursing major and I would appreciate the work experience along with the extra money from my summer time job. I am not a big fan of replacing Coach Kera at ATU as I understand she is an ATU alumni and ATU needs to give her some extra consideration. However, why is the Athletic Director not requiring Coach Kera to make changes to better the program? The Athletic Director needs to consider the summer session and come up with some guidance for Coach Kera. If this summer session is really an NCAA violation, why does the Athletic Director allow it to continue? "
"Regarding the review before this one (about the 3 hr meeting) sadly it is 100% true. There have been a lot of half truths riddled throughout this site & it is frustrating because us as players just want to get our message out that this woman should not have her job anymore!! After multiple offenses she still has her job & has had little to no repercussions for her choices and actions. This review page has been reported to people higher up than her and for all we know they just swept it under the rug like her DUI. Moving on from that… the saddest thing when it came to that 3 hour meeting is that she tried to use the fact that we have a relationship with God and the pressure of having a pastor in attendance to admit and scare us into claiming things that we didn’t do. This is such a malicious and manipulative thing to do to us and I doubt that she even cares. That alone should be major red flags and warning signs to NOT come here. That one meeting alone was emotionally tormenting and you can only imagine if she was so quick to act like that how is she when there aren’t other witnesses? This program is going down the shitter and Kera is the one flushing it down. How do you go from having a conference championship to having an 8-22 season the next year? When one losses and losses over and over it is common sense to know what you’re doing is NOT WORKING. That was not and will never be the case here. This coach picks her favorites and plays them even if they’re the reason we are losing points. The refusal to change the lineup, be a decent person and not talk shit about the players that she has on her team is unbelievable. Kera… I think you went to high school like 15-20 years ago, it’s time to move on from that type of behavior. "
"The reviews before this give little to no context of a review. I can share my personal experience as to why this coach is anything but ELITE. Firstly, she shows up 30 minutes late to practice. But expects the girls to be there 30 minutes before. I remember vividly a few times it has been from having meetings with her “captains” to talk mess poorly about others on the team. One in particular she had a meeting with a player last year to discuss this review page because she thought the player was involved in writing the reviews. So, the player and her had to meet so this particular player could plead her case that is wasn’t her because she was afraid this coach was going to retaliate against her. We also had practices where we never even touched a ball. Look, I am all for having some team bonding or mental health days but this was beyond that. One practice she used the time to have a meeting with us and called in an outside paster to help her run this meeting. She grouped us in “cliques” she thought we were apart of and started to read off drama that girls had confided to her about and dropped everyone’s names. She made the pastor try to get us to come forward about being involved in this particular review page and if we were telling our parents or former teammates what had been going on. Since negative reviews were being written about her. She told us that what was going on was between the team and it was no one else’s business to know what goes on. Seriously? Looking back she didn’t want us going to anyone about this because it was verbal and emotional abuse. She made us stand for 3 hours. During those 3 hours players were getting yelled at by her, the pastor and other teammates, and players were crying. My question what about this is “elite” ? This was a true scenario that really did happen last year. Don’t believe me ? Ask any girl that was apart of this team last year. This coach is a terrible person and does not care about players. One of the reviews said “she helped them through their darkest times”. This coach did the exact opposite to a lot of us. She was reason why we were in our lowest/darkest times. I don’t every describe someone this negatively but for her I will. She is one of worst people I have ever encountered in my life. I often think how much hate someone has to have in their heart to behave this horribly. Parents, players, anyone reading this. Please do not come here. The emotional and verbal abuse I endured here is not anything I wish upon anyone. She has so many people conditioned to think she is a great person but she is not. Please read the reviews, please read the stories that have happened to us on this team. Please reach out to everyone. I lost myself and my love for volleyball playing under this woman. "
"So typical volleyball programs do not have to report back campus until the last week of July or first week of August. Coach Kera makes us report to campus in the beginning of July. She claims it is "optional" but it isn't. She threatens your playing time and says that everyone else comes so you have to in order to be apart of the team. She forces us to go to workouts and to her "open gyms" that she sits in on. I emailed a representative at the NCAA and they informed me that these are MULTIPLE NCAA violations. She doesn't let you leave early to spend some time with your family before the season starts. So girls only have maybe a week at most to fly or drive home to see there family until Thanksgiving/Christmas. This is very hard on girls that are out of state. She claims that this helps the team get a foot ahead against all of the other programs but look at the record for yourself. It doesn't. This past week Kera took a vacation in the middle of our spring season. I found this to be completely disrespectful because, She only gives us a small window in the summer to schedule vacations with our family and just being able to go home in general. Why couldn't she take her vacation during the small window that she gives us? If any of us were to just simply ask if we could go home a few days earlier her answer would be no. Its ridiculous. I do not understand how this coach expects people to take this program seriously when she doesn't even abide by her own rules. Why does ATU allow this? Who allowed her to schedule a vacation in the middle of the spring semester to party it up with her girlfriends? It is just flat out embarrassing and trashy for not only Tech volleyball but Arkansas Tech in general. The reason she gets away with this behavior is because she is comfortable with her job. She does not care, She whatever and, gets away with whatever. And the week staff allows this because, the school in general is in Arkansas and a poor division 2 conference. One of the worst conferences nationally for division 2. Don't believe me? look on the athletic pages. They have to beg people to come to their basketball games. The coliseum maybe gets 50 people at the most for games. Years ago it was not like this. Changes need to be made . Donors and people that give their time and money to this school in general need to start making some hard decisions. The first being, why are we allowing trips to Cancun in the middle of club season for recruits, the middle of the spring semester, and the middle of this volleyball teams spring season. This is her JOB. It is time we start not allowing this ATU. "

"Caoch Kera body shames her girls at ATU volleyball. Coach Kera scrutinizes her player's social media accounts and will ask you to take down posts that she believes are unacceptable. Not a big deal except she has engaged in situations where 2 different girls could have bathing suit pics of themselves from vacation or whatever posted on their social media. Coach Kera will ask one to take it down because she is curvery (which that girl will translates to I am fat) and the other girl will be allowed to leave her bathing suit picture up because she has little to no curves (which that girls translates to I have no figure, undeveloped or flat chested). Shouldn't it be that no volleyball player at ATU should be allowed to post bathing suit pictures on their social media? Keep the rule the same for all players? I don't understand why ATU allows her to speak to young women in this manner. Her words hurt. Multiple girls are referring to eating disorders and mental health issues. Who is looking out for the well being of these young women? "
