"She knows the game well and cares about her players outside of the field. She also takes academics seriously and cares about your future after softball."
"I visite this school in the Spring for 2023 for an opportunity to play volleyball in Fall of 2023. I am a JUCO player looking to transfer and finish out my 2 years of eligibility and finish my bachelors degree. I have been on other college visits as a JUCO player and so I expected my visit at ATU to be similar. It was not even close. I had sent a copy of my transcripts to the coaching staff and at the other schools that I visited, they had given me a list of how my classes would transfer and what would be needed to finish my degree. ATU didn't do any of this for me. I am not even sure why I bothered to send my JUCO transcripts. A complete waste of time. ATU is having a staffing issue with no Grad Assistant for the volleyball team and this is going on 2 years in a row. ATU is also short on athletic trainers. I believe they are missing 1 full time and 1 part time athletic trainer at the moment. I am not sure what is going on with ATU but I didn't have a good experience on my visit. "
"On first glance, Tucker coliseum is impressive. It's huge but when you spend some time on campus and attend basketball games or volleyball games, you quickly realize the downfall of the place. The fan seating is so far removed from the gym floor that athletes cannot hear you cheer for them or feed off fan energy. Unfortunately, this past season both basketball teams had trouble getting fans to come and support them at games. ATU does realize the downfall of the fans being so removed from the floor so they set up chairs on the floor for their alumni or green and gold members to sit to try and produce some excitement. However, it's just not working. I think the football games have more energy but both basketball and volleyball struggle. Tucker is impressive but what difference does it make to have such a huge facility to go play in when the majority of the stands are empty. I am estimating that only 25% of the seats are occupied during games and I feel that it's depressing, especially athletes. "
