"I am not a fan of all these reviews but it does seem to accomplishing something. Coach Kera is making weights optional for us during Thanksgiving and finals. I hope there is not any retaliation from her if some of us players don't show up for weights because we are are visiting with family for Thanksgiving or studying for finals. I have heard from past players that while she states that weights are optional, she will call you out for not attending. It's optional but it's really not. I hope this is not the case because I really need to spend some time with my family and to study for finals. "

I will tell you that I am 100% certain that something is WRONG with this ATU Volleyball program and maybe even with ATU's athletic administration. I would NEVER put my daughter in this type of environment. I know that young people need learn to deal with drama but this is way over the top. No THANK YOU Arkansas Tech University - I will pass on requiring my daughter to navigate the Kera Dukic drama at 18 years old.

"#1 coming at the girls saying mommy and daddy spoon feed the girls who were mentally and emotionally abused by this woman. It’s sad because your daddy was all up on this trying to get involved as well, so guess you must be spoon fed as well. Along crying for a Lib jersey because it’s ur senior year. What a joke. Maybe you should play better instead of crying for a spot. My experience playing for kera was a wreck and these reviews prove how this coach treats people. Kera’s goal is not to succeed, it’s to control and manipulate as many girls as she can. Once she realizes she can’t control that player she “ releases“ them and says she wishes them nothing but the best but yet gossips about them in her meetings, at team dinners and at practices. This is a depressing sad program especially when we are forced to lie about community service hours so kera looks perfect to the community. This school has so much potential and it’s sad to see it be wasted, these girls have so much potential and all they need is a leader who inspire players to be a good person on and off the court. Clearly that’s not happening."

You called a player disabled, you talked about me multiple times and others on the team, when you got pulled from games you talked poorly about people that went in for you. Your pathetic. Defending a coach that wanted to kick you off during the season. She called your weak minded and a bully. People reading this, don’t believe me? Ask not only people that played last year and left but, you can also ask current teammates on the team with this group. They were bullies. People voiced their concerns to this coach MULTIPLE times. "I wish I could write a review that would overshadow all of these LIES about the most caring coach I have ever played for. I have sat here and read made up story, after made up story about a coach who's only goal is to see her girls succeed both on the court and off. Like most collegiate coaches she holds players ACCOUNTABLE!!!, you fail ALL of your classes? GOOBYE, you have a terrible attitude and refuse to respect the coach that brought you here to play for her? NO CHANCE! She holds adult women to the standards that they should be and when players are angry that she expects us to follow the rules she puts in place they call up mommy and daddy to solve all their issues. The problem isn't coach Kera, its athletes that have never had to work hard for anything in their lives and when they aren't spoon fed what they think they "deserve" more and more excuses are made. NEWS FLASH, if you work hard, respect the person that wants to see you thrive, and buy into the amazing culture coach Kera has created your "problems" no longer exist. Coming from a program that seriously needed help, I can 100% say that coach Kera cares so deeply for her players she would never say or do half of these stories that butt-hurt bench warmers have made up about her.
All I wish recruits to know is that coming to play for Kera is AN AMAZING choice that I think God I made everyday. She cares so much for the girls she brings here to Tech and only wants us to succeed. The issue is and never has been Kera, good riddance to the girls that throw shade to a coach that constantly pushed them to be better and goof luck finding a coach that will put up with mommy and daddy holding your hand, its difficult to play volleyball when both your hands are tied up :)

"Coach Kera will mess you over on money almost every time. We come on campus right after July 4th to start conditioning and Coach Kera says she will pay for 1 summer class for all players. My first summer on campus, the money for the 1 class never was applied to my One Tech account and my parents had to pay out of pocket for that class. Coach Kera promised to make it up to me later by adding some money either Fall or Spring semester. I have yet to see that money. She lies about money all the time. She is not to be trusted.

"My daughter (out of state player) and antoher girl (Arkansas player from Bentonville, AR) were both academically ineligible during the Spring of 2022. Coach Kera filled out paperwork to help the Arkansas player waive their ineligibility but did not fill out that paperwork for my daughter. Coach Kera does show favoritism to Arkansas players over the out of state players. She is unprofessional and dishonest with how she manages and treats the players. Constantly second guessing everything that she says because she lies so much. It's hard to figure out what is truth and what is fiction. I am disappointed in this program and with Coach Kera. "

"This has gotten sent around the whole athletic department here at Tech. Although, Coach Kera is not my coach I would like to share my experience with her. During Halloween we had a meet and somehow our coach found out we had gone out from Halloween. Talking with some of the volleyball girls and telling them what had happen I found out that Coach Kera was the one that fed our coach all of these lies. She told our coach that we went out and drank, and she told them that the baseball players here at Tech that we were hanging out with at the party were using us for s*x. Our coach called our parents and fed them all of these lies that coach Kera told him. I’m appalled. Why are two 30+ year old adults having conversations about 18,19 year old girls personal and s*x life. It’s very creepy and almost pedophilic sounding. I was very embarrassed and upset when my coach called my parents about all of this. Please do not come here both of these coaches have issues. My mental health at this school has been so low. I am Thinking about transferring out. "
"I am an Arkansas player that plays on ATU Volleyball program for Coach Kera - I was recruited by Coach Kera and I have read all these reviews about how she shows favoritism to in state players and is focused on in state players. I want to tell you what she REALLY does to in state Arkansas recruits. SHE LIES to US. She brings us onto the program for the first year with NO MONEY and she promises to give us MONEY the second season when the senior players graduate and their MONEY becomes available. GUESS WHAT? Second season rolls around and she doesn't honor her promise - or she 1/2 honors it. She will promise you like $4K for scholarship $ but then only give you $2K. She has done this to almost EVERY in STATE Arkansas Player on the Team. We all TALK to each other and know all HER LIES. Don't trust anything she tells you about MONEY until you see it in WRITING and it's SIGNED. "
"Bad example for young athletes - DUI while on the job at ATU and she can't drive the ATU team vehicles. They have to get other ATU staff members to drive for her because of her DUI. Really? This is the fine, upstanding example that you want the athletes to see as a good example to follow? I don't think so. "

"I found Kera Dukic's program to have many issues with disorganization, changing expectations, bullying from people in a position of authority, public shaming and lots ands lots of retaliation against players she "doesn't like". She never put the student before the athlete. She made me late to multiple classes and tests. She had us show up to events that she recorded wrong in her calendar, so so many times. NO respect for the students time or gas to drive to these things. However, players are expected to be to practice 15 minutes early, she is always late to the practices that we must be to on time. She would change our practice time, the day of practice, this happens all the time!! At this level, she should have this stuff figured out and show the team the same respect that she is expecting. She does know the game but I have had high schools coaches give better instructions, show more care and encouragement. This program has had issues with her retaliating against players who chose to transfer. She told the team she called this player's new coach to tell them what a bad person our teammate was! We all felt this was to put fear into us that she would do the same thing if we wanted to transfer out. She talks so badly about former players to the current team, it just so uncomfortable for most of us. Her coaching style is negative, fearful and all about HER! She says it is a family but most players leave after 1 year. Review the roster, there is so much turnover that speaks for itself. Kera is unhealthy, she really shouldn't be in a position to lead or influence young women. ATU should do better at vetting out these people. I have been part of programs that demonstrate an all inclusive team culture, respect to all players former or current and an ability to bring the best our in each individual. Kera expects everyone to adjust to her, when in fact she is the coach and she should sense the specific needs of each player. She is a low-level coach, high school at best."

Reading day is also very frustrating. That is a mandatory off day for us students. I just wish coach would be alittle more considerate with us. Some of us have come to her about things and she either shuts us down or does not make herself approachable. I’m not for all of these reviews. But I have taken it to here to state my concern because, every time I try to go to her it never gets solved. She listens to these reviews more than her current girls that have given everything to her. I just cant wait to be home for the month with family and get away from Kera Dukic and her drama. "

"I am a current player with this program and Coach Kera does want to transform this team to be 100% Arkansas only players. She is making it so difficult for us to go home for Thanksgiving break - most of the out of state players had to change flights and pay the airline change fees ($) because she is being so inconsiderate with our weights schedule. I feel like Coach Kera is doing this on purpose to run off the out of state players off the team - which will free up scholarship money and positions for replacements which she will in turn fill with in state Arkansas players. Arkansas players can drive home and most live within less than 2 or 3 hours from ATU - so no big deal for them to follow Coach Kera's weight schedule. Over Thanksgiving break, I am going to sit down with my parents, show them this website and have a hard discussion about this program. Maybe I should enter the Transfer Portal when I come back from Thanksgiving? I am embarassed to be associated with this program. "

"This is ridiculous. It is currently 6:40 and we are out in the freezing weather playing ultimate frisbee. Coach Kera does not prioritize other things that college students are dealing with. She has us still going to mandatory 7am lifts even though it is a NCAA violation that she gives us off. She also has us volunteering on our reading day. OUR READING DAY. Even though we already have our 5hrs for the month. Reading day is a day where us students can us to catch up on work, study for finals, and relax. What do you not understand? I’m sorry your major was a blowoff and your partied and did whatever you wanted during college. But SOME OF US CARE. What In the world. "

Even after my daughter entered the NCAA transfer portal, this Coach Kera continues to text and call both my daughter and myself and we do no respond.
