"Coach Kera Dukic started off this 2022 Season with a Negative TONE and that Negative Tone was carried through out. The 2021 ATU Volleyball Team received their GAC rings at Half Time of a Football game this year and 2 specific players were asked not to attend. Can you imagine that? You play for ATU Volleyball and contribute to the 2021 GAC Conference Championship and you are asked NOT to attend the ring ceremony? Coach Kera is so immature. These 2 players were asked NOT to attend because they called Kera out on her GOSSIPPING about them during a team dinner in late August. The Ring Ceremony was on October 16th - She was still holding a grudge against these 2 former players since August - and she (Coach Kera) was the one in the wrong.

Just signed a player who has not touched a volleyball in over a year BUT she signed her anyway because she's a local from Russellville, Arkansas. The team knows she shows favoritism to Arkansas players and she will play an Arkansas player over an out of state player even if the out of state player is the better performer on the court. "
"I just completed my final season with this ATU Volleyball Program and I am excited to move on with the next chapter of my life without having to interact with Kera Dukic. Coach Kera Dukic plays below the line - she is defensive and closed off to her players and staff. She hired the graduate assistant last year (2021) to be her Asst Coach this season instead of much more qualified coaches with experience because Coach Kera knew she could control her previous graduate assistant. We spent this season without a GA so the Asst Coach did all the work of a Grad Assistant and ZERO work of an actual Asst Coach. We had no scouting reports this entire season and film was an after thought. Coach Kera uses GOSSIP to control her players and she places fault and blame on everyone to hide her lack of skills to lead and unite a team. Coach Kera gravitates towards CONFLICT. If you are considering playing volleyball at the next level after high school or even a Junior College - please make ATU with Coach Kera your last resort. Only come to ATU for Volleyball if you HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS on the table. Trust me - you don't want to play for Coach Kera Dukic - she will destroy your Mental Health. "

This past season, she purchased a meal and delivered this meal to an ATU volleyball player because of a death. Coach Kera did not bring other ATU volleyball players a meal that night - just the one player. Coach Kera knows this is an NCAA violation because today she REMOVED that player from her roster and stated the player was NCAA non-compliant for accepting the meal. What about Coach Kera - what is her punishment for buying the meal and violating the NCAA rule? How come the player is punished but not the Coach? The volleyball player was very sad about the death of her cousin and wasn't thinking clearly when accepting the meal. What is Coach Kera's excuse? "Played for this coach when she coached at St.Thomas University. Terrible. Very disorganized, dishonest, and manipulative. Clearly she has not changed. Sad for young woman that go play for her. "
"Coach Kera has brought in a local pastor from Second Baptist Church of Russellville on several occassions this season that on the surface seems like a good idea. This PASTOR conducted a pod cast called "Player vs Pretender" but one of the sessions, Coach Kera had talked this pastor into deviating from that script and had an intervention. This entire season has been consumed with Coach Kera trying to figure out who is posting all these reviews on this website. She goes absolutely CRAZY every time a review is left and her mission is to try to uncover the source. So this one session, she has this pastor of Second Baptist Church Russellville put the girls into groups. He has one dorm room of 4 girls in a group, the 2 Captains in a group, one poor girl by herself as a "group" and then the rest of the team as a group. She has provided the questions for pastor to use as a way to provoke the girls into fighting with each other in the hopes that someone will get mad and "rat" out the person or person(s) that are writing the reviews. Coach Kera brings in this pastor for this session which lasts 2 hours long and the girls NEVER TOUCH a VOLLEYBALL for 2 hours. This session was so negative and toxic that girls were on the verge of a complete melt down. Girls were sick to their stomach, crying out of control and anticipating hurting themselves from this session. This PASTOR call girls on the ATU Volleyball team "Weak Minded" and was so negative. I don't understand why a PASTOR of a church would want to associate himself with this kind of toxic behavior. What would happen if one of these girls hurt themselves after this session? Who would be responsible - Coach Kera or the PASTOR of Second Baptist Church or Russellville? Why would Coach Kera stand there and let this PASTOR call these girls "Weak Minded"? Because Coach Kera was the one that told the PASTOR what to say. Don't send your daughter to this program. She will be mentally abused the entire season. Mind Games "

"Where to start. Coach Kera only cares about herself and her needs. I hated playing for this program because I was abused by this women mentally and emotionally everyday being called a loser and stupid. Being kicked off the court when she wouldn’t explain what I was doing or even COACH me on what I was doing wrong. This women should not be around young women. She makes promise she can’t keep and then can’t take responsibility or apologize or lying. 99% of girls in the program have hated it because kera is toxic. "
"Coach Kera has done some good things for some players. Yes. But does that warrant all the other things? For example, having meetings with players talking about other players, watching film 2 hours before a game, instead of coaching the 6 players on the court she is worried about what her “bench” is doing, and threatens to send them to the locker room. These are all attributes you can see even on the outside looking in. Watch the games, listen closely to how her mannerisms are throughout the game compared to the other coach. You can hear her threaten and cuss out the girls on the bench, and threatening to send them to the locker room. When is that okay? When is that warranted? Yes, she has done some great things for some players but let’s not let that take away from the thousand of other things she has done. And instead of asking her for parents and players to reach for with questions. Just look at the roster and reach out to handful of girls in seasons past. "
"Coach Dukic is a solid coach and is passionate about volleyball. She knows the game and knows what it takes to win. It takes a lot of work, commitment and team unity. Not everyone is cut out for college sports honestly….. even the athletically gifted. They don’t want to be a TEAM player, they want to be a ME player and if they don’t get their way, they will pollute the team with lies….. whatever it takes even cheering against their teammates on Senior night. So sad. Coach Dukic doesn’t cater to selfish players and yes she makes her entire team run bleachers and lift weights. I know it’s crazy, isn’t it? What in the world is coming to college athletics? If you have a question or complaint, her door is open. She will be honest and direct. If a player gets sick at 2:00 am, she will be at the hospital with them. She cares for her players, all of them. If you are considering ATU and Coach Dukic please ask her to give you parent and player references and you can talk to those individuals directly. Don’t be swayed by these ME players. Ask your own questions. Arkansas Tech is an awesome program and a wonderful place to play volleyball. Honestly you couldn’t ask for a better coach than Coach Dukic!"

"If you are a the type of player or person who thinks the rules don’t apply to you cause you are just that good or you are the type of person that is better than everyone else then coach Kera is not for you. If you are used to getting your way always and mommy and daddy have taken care of everything for you then no you won’t like tech. But if you are interested in someone who truly cares about others who ever they may be and treats people with respect then this would be a good fit. Coach Kera is extremely competitive but along with her competitiveness she is truly a caring person. "I played for Coach Kera Dukic in 2019 and 2020 and she was nothing but DRAMA. I originally thought the intense negativity was because we were not her recruits. Our team was recruited and put together by Kristy Bayer and I thought that Coach Kera treated us bad because we weren't really "her girls." Coach Kera treated us with total disrespect. She would change plans last minute and cancel things with less than a 30 minute notice. She would send text messages and total flip out if you didn't hit a thumbs up within 15 minutes so she could see that you read the text. I understood the confirmation of the text message but sometimes I would be driving and she would start blasting my phone with text messages because I hadn't hit thumbs up within the 15 minutes. When I would explain that I was driving, she didn't care and would even say "stop lying." She would call me a liar and was so confrontational. She was completely unrealistic. She had an Assistant Coach - Nook (?)- who was very technical. His scouting reports were great but he was just the assistant and she was also disrespectful to him. She would roll her eyes every time he talked to us and she would make fun of him when he was not around. One word to describe Coach Kera is DISRESPECTFUL. "
"Last year at the end of the 2021 Season, 6 ATU Volleyball players entered the NCAA Transfer Portal and the Assistant Coach left with a 2 week notice.

"I'm a parent of an ATU VB player. I can say without a doubt that we’ve had more experience and first-hand knowledge, from a parent’s perspective, of the program since Coach Kera took over than anyone else. She is a good coach that cares about her players and their families. We’ve experienced this first-hand to a far greater extent than what we could have ever imagined; and her response was greater than what could possibly be expected. Arkansas Tech is a great university, and the school and VB program is an outstanding opportunity for young adults. It's been a joy for us to get to know the student athletes and their families. Is it easy for the athletes? No. The time, effort and struggles of a college student athlete are demanding. This isn’t high school or club VB, and every situation isn’t ideal for everyone.

"The OBU game was a loss for Tech - and Coach Kera wants to blame the players from the bench for not cheering loud enough. Coach said she wants to pull film to see how loud some of the Tech volleyball girls are cheering during a game from the sidelines. Yet this same Coach won't bother to watch game film on OBU until 2 hours before warm up to play OBU. The FOCUS of this COACH is on the WRONG thing(s). After every game, she comes into the locker room and threatens to kick players off the team and to pull scholarship money. Coach Kera does more threatening than she does Coaching. "
