"Both Kevin Tidey and Ronda Varnesdeel have been getting away with unethical things for more than a decade at Davenport University. Their “friends” allow them to do what they want to do. Try to keep on their good side because once you disagree or challenge them they will bully you out of the University because they are both textbook narcissists. There’s a new layer of problematic relations with these 2 as both of their kids “play” sports at Davenport now. If you are smart - try and be friends with their children and they will treat you better. "

"I’ve personally attended a “camp” for baseball at the softball field. It wasn’t a camp it was a tournament, Tidey had his kids working and they were taking money at the gate. He laughed that it was their allowance for the summer. I thought that was awfully odd. So a Davenport Employee can have their children work Davenport events and take and keep money that was meant to go to the baseball program. It does seem like the rules truly do not apply to this bully of a man. I feel sorry for anyone that has to experience this. "

"Roll Title 9. Tidey has his own set of rules that administration lets him get away with. I saw during travel baseball he lets his kids travel team use the very expensive GoRout watches lol can you imagine if anyone else did that. What a joke - Davenport U is funding his own kids summer baseball team. That’s a fireable offense anywhere else! "

"Photo evidence of Kevin Tidey drinking with softball players. He invited a softball player to his house when she was a senior and drank with her. Do you think the administration cares? Sickening. Party culture is strong. "

"Watch out if you’re a softball coach and want to come to Davenport University. The administration openly allows Kevin Tidey to walk over the softball program so much so that he openly recruited a female trainer and facility worker to mistreat the softball coaches and players and deny them basic help with the only dirt field on campus. I have documentation of the female trainer interfering in group me with a playing decision between the softball coach and in conference school (PNW) undermining the coaching staff every step of the way. It’s very concerning the institution protects coaches who openly drink and sleep with student athletes and does not protect coaches who have a moral compass. "

"Alcoholic. Loser. Hides behind seniority to do what he wants to do. No wonder he can create a team with the insane amount of resources provided to him by administration. He must have something bad on the former coaches who are now in power of the athletic department. Sickening how this athletic department is run. Look no further than something as simple as strength and conditioning. Clear gender bias - illustrated through social media. It’s too bad the women of this school do not get provided the resources and coaching they deserve. "

"Personally have overheard Kevin Tidey overshare how much he disliked the softball coaches bc they didn’t let him walk all over them. They tried to protect their student athletes and their own field from his harassment and neglect of their field through camps and umpire clinics. Absolutely sickening the way he treated their team and coaches bc they took a stand for their players and equipment. Classless. "

"Wrecked the softball field, used baseball camps to personally benefit himself and family. Personally, watched him allow children to vandalize the softball field and take things from their locker room and coaches office. Not a team player. "

"Don’t worry Deputy AD does what he wants and gets more resources than anyone else. He must have a lot of dirt on the administration bc he can do whatever he wants to do. Not a great coach though, he is described by administration as nothing more as a coach who sits on a bucket. "

"Unprofessional, creates a culture of drinking and not taking accountability. Hides behind seniority to be able to do whatever he wants. Arrogant and let players who got caught and arrested drinking play over players like my son, who did all the right things. Car salesman but when push comes to shove won’t stand up for a player unless he sees a benefit of them on the field. I’m happy my son left the program as well as a record amount of transfers last year. "
