"From a swimming perspective, Kyle was very knowledgeable and motivation coach. He wrote every workout with intention and I always looked forward to coming to practice. Everything else that came with running a program was lacking. He was not organized and last minute planning was common. There would be times where he'd forget to order meals, plane tickets, warm ups for freshman, etc. "
"Kyle Walthall ruined my love for swimming. You never knew what mood he was going to be in, one day he would be screaming at you and the next day, he would be cracking jokes. His mental instability was taken out on targeted swimmers. He would constantly leave mid-practice to go home. He never did anything to improve team culture. Working with Kyle was the most painful experience of my career."
"Do not go to this school if you are being recruited. He is not mentally stable and has done a lot of damage to the program. He has very serious anger and emotional issues that have not been addressed. Yelling at swimmers and mood swings during practice are common place. Administration knows and won’t do anything about it. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!"
