"Lewis is a coach that knows how to win a game (never against a top 25 DI team though) and that's about it. The only players he truly cares about is the core group of 11-13 players he plays, but even with them it's a question on how much he cares for them as a person beyond soccer. He tells players that he wants you to get minutes and have opportunities but when you get them he sets you up to fail and try to prove "why you don't play". And when players do get their opportunity they are going out there just scared to play and mess up, because if you aren't one of his core players he will pull you off with any type of mistake. They are breeding and want an environment at WMU for girls to be bitchy & did nothing when brought to them that a player told someone to "fuck off" because they were stressed before a game. Very selfish & only cares how the outside success is seen. "
"They must teach a master manipulation class at Aquinas. I’ve seen it with this coach and up the road at Davenport. Extremely terrible human beings that think it’s ok to sleep with players, CHEAT and be self centered. All glory to the COACH. What can you do for me players! "
"Lewis definitely knows soccer. He doesn't know or care about female athletes. He is 100 percent in coaching for winning and glory. He doesn't care about his players. Well thats not true. The ones he is close with he cares a lot about. Good soccer coach. Terrible person. "
"This coach wins and has success. He doesn't approach the coaching process with grace, and he very seldom coaches without favoritism. Overall he is knowledgable and finds success. "
"Lewis is a master manipulator. He has a good knowledge of the game but he is completely demeaning and inappropriate behind the scenes. He lies to players consistently and has had relationships in the past with his players at the club he runs. Stay away"
