"Marko is a great person and coach. He has extremely limited resources and support by the university to run the swim team on little to no budget and that is all out of his control. Sadly college swimming is so in jeopardy at all levels that it causes extra stress on coaching staff. Marko listens and is receptive but can struggle a little with athlete injuries and can tend to push the recovery a little too fast but otherwise he's a great asset for UC San Diego!"
