"Coach Frye is great. He is a players coach through and through. He sets a high standard for his players and motivates them to maintain that standard. He genuinely cares about his athletes’ well-being both in and outside of football. He fosters an environment of mutually earned respect. He has fantastic social skills that enable him to connect with seemingly any individual from any background. This creates a culture where his players can with one another as well. On the field, he brings high energy and expects the same from his players. While film sessions can be full of light-hearted fun, he makes sure there is a shift in focus when there needs to be. His coaching style is definitely hands-on, showing his players that he is as invested as they are. I’m glad I had the opportunity to play under him. He’s made a positive impact on many aspects of my life."
