"She loves coaching I will give her that, but when it comes to knowledge and understanding of the game and strategies that will work for the personnel on the team, the coaching staff lacks in proper execution. There is heavy favoritism that you will see within a month of playing for her. She is honest, though once she has a thought in her head about you there is no changing it. I personally feel as though I was one of the hardest workers to have gone through the team and consistently showed my dedication and hard work off the field, but was unable to sway her in my favor. I was apart of this team for 2 years and began the transfer process, before I was able to complete the process she cut me. The 2 years I was on the team were genuinely the worst 2 years of my life, I put my body through hell and fought the feeling of never being enough because of the way I was treated on this team. She consistently emphasizes the importance of fitness, but is contradicted by the lack of on the team. Another thing to highlight is a question I asked her during my recruitment process which was, “How many girls transfer out of your program,” she said one in 10 years. Through my time on the team I learned that question was the wrong one to ask and I should have asked something along the lines of, “ How many girls stay on your program from freshman year to senior year?” As noted in one of the previous reviews you can see that she is heavy on cutting culture, cutting 2 or more girls a season. I do not believe this makes a healthy team culture. ANOTHER THING TO NOTE IS MENTAL HEALTH DOES NOT MATTER. I was cut the Friday before spring finals began and have friends who were cut Monday before fall classes began. I whole heartedly believe that you should do more research before deciding to play for this program and also evaluate how badly you want to play college soccer because from what I have learned there are many other D3 toxic women’s soccer programs that also do a great job at hiding their coaching staffs true colors."
