"Ylagan is a solid coach, knows the game well, and cares about his players. He's very successful at creating a strong bond within his position group and inspiring them to make the best out of themselves. However, he's terribly opaque when it comes to feedback. Would rather athletes figure something out themselves than coach them towards it, even if the athlete asks for help. When he does communicate expectations, it is often when the feedback is no longer useful. Poor at resolving conflict. Will rarely give honest feedback because he is a people pleaser, and would rather have his guys like him than perform well."
"Coach Ylagan cares about the players on and off the field. Creating good men is just as important as creating good players to him. He communicates well with his players and works hard to be fair. He is knowledgeable about the sport and is always learning more. "
