"I played under him at Morehead State and he’s one of my favorite coaches I’ve had. He’s funny and personable and made soccer fun again which is rare at this level. He knew when we needed a fun chill drill and when we needed to focus. He could be intense but that is what we signed up for at a d1 level. He also noticed the strengths of every player and made everyone from starters to subs to injured feel seen. He’s a great coach to have if you value competitiveness and hard work."

"I played for Paul at Morehead State last season and he is absolutely terrible . He lacks tactical knowledge of the game and would never adjust - he has his favorites that will come sit with him in his office with door shut . He talks negatively about girls that transferred and would often loo up their playing time at other schools and make fun of them. He lied to me and others repeatedly . we had a fundraiser last year and now it’s mysteriously gone - no clue what he used it on . DO NOT send your daughter to Morehead State - she will regret it "

"Verbally and mentally abusive to some players. I believe there is a bit of racism in this man. The abuse that my daughter suffered at the mouth of this man will never leave her. He and his head coach Matt Lodge should be banned from coaching young impressionable women at all cost. Most are afraid to speak out of fear to lose playing time or being kicked off of the team for "not fitting the culture" "
