"Coach Hogan was one of the least understanding coaches that I have had, about anything. Although he is very knowledgeable about soccer this did not seem to carry over when building a healthy team environment. He often did not check in on players who were out for long-term injuries and did not make sure that they felt like part of the team. He also was not understanding about illness. "

"This coach did not value skill and focused mostly on fitness. He was not respectful of injuries and taking time off if your body needed to recover. Players were afraid to sit out for injuries or talk about mental health due to fear of punishment or judgement from coach paul hogan. The nature of the team was hostile on and off the field. "
