"This woman does not know a single thing about the sport of lacrosse. She lacks creativity in coming up with practice plans and has no sympathy for athletes who are injured. We had two different assistant coaches while I was “coached” by her at Bridgewater and she refused to communicate effectively with either of them. They were constantly arguing and disagreeing in front of the team. She picks on girls who are self-conscious or aren’t good enough and forces them to talk about their insecurities in front of the whole team. She is the WORST at constructive criticism. She thinks that because she has a psych degree, she can just tell everyone that they need to go to therapy when they are struggling with personal issues. Team moral on the field was really low because of her lack of support and knowledge of the game. We all had a really great bond and the team had a lot of skill but we weren’t able to succeed on the field because of limitations she placed on us. We had the same plays and practiced the same drills every year, and when we asked to change things up, she refused. I truly felt like I didn’t have a coach, rather a woman who stood on the sideline and whined about all of our imperfections as athletes and students. She really crushed my confidence and ruined my love for the sport."
