"Disrespectful and ignorant. One of the worst coaches in college and it’s crazy to think he’s been at Fordham for so long. No respect for anyone and his swimmers clearly don’t respect him. "

"Coach Potsklan is a nice guy. However, his coaching abilities need dramatic improvement. His greatest coaching flaw is his inability to adapt to the ever-evolving sport. The improvement in the team this year is due to an attitude change from within the team, and had very little to do with Coach Potsklan. I do not recommend swimming his program."
"If you're looking for a coach who won't talk to you, Steve's the right couch for you. You'd be lucky if he mumbles a couple words to you after your races. His program is run on favoritism, rather than swimmers' actual times. He is probably the least motivational coach I've met and his practices are a joke. Dishonest and unaccountable. "
