Disorganized Poor Communication
"Summer is truly horrific. It is only her second season, and the team went from top of the conference to literally last, with lowkey better players. How is that even possible???? You tell me. She came here and took a head coaching position with a concerning resume. She played at four different colleges every year (red flag), and then has done the same thing with coaching, bouncing between teams every year. Congrats, you've made it two years at ONU. She had an interim head coaching position at a prior school and got fired for going against NCAA rules. And that apparently does not seem concerning to the AD at ONU? I can't even express how horrible it is to play for her. She is SO bipolar and will love a player for one day, and then ignore and not talk to them for weeks at a time. She also plays favorites and says we have to set high standards for ourselves as a team; however, lets players who make continuous errors and pout/ be disrespectful continue to start/play every single game. She also has a double standard about being respectful, yet she picks apart players and says very rude things that should never be said. She pouts and throws tantrums like a baby when the team loses games, like seriously, you are 30. She cries and screams and throws objects, how embarrassing. She truly cannot control her emotions and says whatever she is thinking. She is also so immature and lacks safety for the team. She pushed a girl who cannot swim into the pool during spring break and never once apologized, but later made jokes about it with the team. She has also been caught texting on her phone while driving the team on the highway in vans. When players got injured, she is the last person to show up, and does not ask if they are okay, only gives negative feedback. Her favorite thing to do is to humiliate and embarrass players in front of the team. She threatened to kick a player out of practice for having a bad attitude, but really was just not performing that day, and then made them talk about it in front of multiple teammates and other coaches on the team. The same thing goes with academics, talks about players' grades in front of teammates, and isn't willing to talk with the player about the class. She tries to have conversations with players about personal things in their lives that a coach does not need to know. Also makes up her own rules. Certain players get punished for missing practices for valid reasons (doctor's appointment), whereas when other players aren't going, then the practice becomes optional. Practices do not align with what needs to be worked on as a team. Does not change the lineup, even after only winning 9 games in the entire season. Has terrible softball IQ, has lost the team multiple games because of bad decisions. She also provides zero in-game coaching. "
