"Played under him for first year back to Long Beach. Absolutely worst coach I’ve seen. Doesn’t care about players. He’s honest which I guess is good and knows the game of baseball but has zero clue how to implement stuff or how to win simply. Has an ego and attitude problem. Very bias person and won’t play best players instead will play players only he likes. You can ask other players who have played under him and will tell you all the horror stories. Talked s**t about his own players to other coaches/teams. Told his players that we all suck and that he can’t wait to replace us. Never claimed us as his guys. I don’t understand how he’s a head coach when has zero care in the world. Told us all we weren’t Dirtbags when he’s the farthest thing from a Dirtbag. Talked about how he coached Bauer and Cole when he literally didn’t do anything there. Will punish his team and make us do running/conditioning before a game. Half the team was hurt from him trying to make us do too much. But he persisted on giving us more weights, running, punishments, s**t talks, etc. to break us down. You can just tell he didn’t care and was done with us. Sat on the bench during the game criss crossed as he had no care on what we did. "
