With his own younger daughters and his entire family deeply involved with the team, they contribute to the family-like atmosphere and culture. He doesn’t tolerate drama and genuinely cares about all his players both on and off the court. If you are considering CMU, be prepared to give your all, as he expects nothing less than 110%. Practices may be challenging, but the effort you invest will reward you with lifelong friendships and a support network genuinely invested in your success. However, don’t expect rewards without putting in the work, as nothing worthwhile comes easily. Looking back on my time at CMU, I can confidently say that Coach Wagner helped shape me into a better person, both on and off the court. Leaving the gym, I always felt a sense of pride in my progress and growth. Even to this day, I find myself reflecting on his motivational words, such as "you have to learn to embrace the challenges.”"
