"My daughter was sold a dream when she committed to play for this team. This coach is not a natural leader and has very questionable methods. I am not the biggest fan of coaches like him."

"This was easily the worst year of soccer for me. The comment from October 27 is from Zach and as you can tell he likes to play the same childish games he’s referring to in his post. He is always throwing temper tantrums and acting like he is above everyone else. If you love soccer stay far away from him."

"lol This site is hilariously stupid. It just gives the opportunity for the players to whine and complain rather than talking it out like an adult. What’s wrong negative poster? Did Coach tell you weren’t fit enough? Not good enough? Or are you upset you have to actually compete for your position rather than just “be the best” from a high school of 500? Or are you upset that the building of a program isn’t winning enough yet? Coach has stated he knows about this site but doesn’t care because it’s always the negative ones who are the loudest. And this site is proving it with the soft minded approach that these individuals have."

"Coach does not challenge the team. Has a way of making players want to step away from the game. He uses the same drills he uses with his young club teams and calls it a day. Fitness scores don’t matter and 1/2 the team will agree that we are not in shape-Coach thinks otherwise. Positive comments from July 2, 2024 are written in the way he talks, so of course he would take up for himself and write good things. "

"Coached along Coach Zach during club. He cares about his players even at the club level which is a short amount of time. He wants to see success for all of his players; which, admittedly, he can get a little intense at times. Seeing these anonymous posts on here is sad. Having worked alongside him I'm going to doubt any of these were ever face to face conversations. I guess that's the world we live in now."

"Met Coach Zach through the soccer scene while he was out recruiting. Seems like a good guy with a lot of care for his players, even the ones that don’t seem to respect him. It’s a tough job rebuilding a program and it seems like he’s got the right idea."

"Gives honest feedback whether players want to hear it or not. Cares deeply for players and will be there to support whenever it is needed. Has a faith background but is willing to talk with players that feel differently. Will ask questions about opinions to learn more of the why rather than take things at face value. Those that have rated him so negatively…it sounds like you haven’t actually had a conversation or your thinking you’ll just get your way when you complain."

"This coach is disrespectful to players. Very condescending. It’s not OK to have an opinion that goes against his. Very defensive. Told the team he has some recruits to meet numbers not for talent. Puts on a front to trick recruits into coming here. Unbearable to be around."

"Narcissist, socially inapt, inappropriate, condescending to players and staff, hypocritical, and never wrong are all ways I would describe this coach. Does not genuinely care about his players physical or mental health. Can’t keep an assistant or long-term, quality players. Extremely bias and petty. Probably, never developed properly. "

"Disrespectful to his players talks down continuously . Is a very controlling person try`s to use religion as a reason for what he does. He has been reprimanded by the AD on different occasions. He is definitely not a person you want to coach you girl. This same review happened at his last job by another parent."

"Doesn’t know the game. Is inappropriate at times (more often than not). Disregards the humans he is coaching unless it has to do with him. Cannot handle confrontation or an opinion other than his own. He is also very negative and extremely unaware of the standing of his team."

"Zach seems very unprepared and unprofessional. He talks to everyone like they see children. Zach forces his religion on players and even makes them go to chapel that he leads. He is not knowledgeable about the game. I would not want to play for him or work for him. "
