"Weight room, good for a D3 athletic program. New indoor facility finishing up, good but lets see how the quality lasts. Student weight room, good. Training room is only good because of the trainers I had when I was there but needs some updates and need to retain good trainers. Most of the locker rooms are ok for other sports.
Baseball specific:
Locker room is the away football locker room and is worse than a high school locker room with quality and is always 90 degrees and you only get access to it in the spring semester.
Field: DANGEROUS! There are holes and hills in the outfield, dirt is hard as a rock, grass is always dead, batting cage in play in left field, both bullpens are in the field of play with wood around them, just got a warning track after someone tore their ACL and it is impossible to see a flyball in the outfield most days. Also sun sets right behind the 3rd baseman.
Dugouts: used to be terrible with no fence and no it is a little better with a half fence in front. Still not a lot of room, old benches, and old chairs with a small closet for field maintenance equipment.
Location: Great, right in the middle of campus, surrounded by beautiful hills, can walk to the field in 2 minutes from your dorm. 1 big problem, since it is in the middle of hills the water drains right to the stinking field.
Tarp: Huge tarp with holes in it that ain't weighted so we need to throw tires on it.
Fence: good luck to lefties it is 410 to right center field and there is a whole in the left field fence to walk down to the field
Sound system: Ain't none and we don't do walkup music
Would be a great place for a baseball field if the infamous turf field would finally appear that everyone has been promised for 10 years now, bite the bullet and do it. Best location of any baseball field in the conference but one of the worst play surfaces for safety and practicality. "
