"Coach Peters is generally disorganized, in the spring she often comes with no practice plan, in the fall we do the same/similar drills every practice. We don't specifically target places we need to improve because she doesn't explain her expectations before practice or any of the drills we do. She subs very little in games, despite players being exhausted from playing entire games so they can't give their best play. When asked about what we can do to get in games her answer is usually to up your speed, stamina, and agility. She expects players to run before/after practice and on game days if not played, which isn't wrong except that when athletes do that they still aren't played despite their improvement. She doesn't aim to develop her players, just to use where our skills are at currently. There are transfers out of every class every year. She holds end of season meetings in the fall and spring but has not shown any effort to take accountability or make improvements based on team feedback. Because of these issues the team culture is not good, it's cliquey with a lack of equal respect at the very least. She does not seem like she wants to be a coach, it's expected that we coach ourselves. "
"Needs to be replaced.
Lacks leadership, can't make an independent decision. Allows assistant coach to RUIN morale and condones mental abuse of players."
"this the worst coach in the country , not only does she not care about winning but she comes to practice everyday underarms selling like troll knee caps. "
"Luke has done well to bring AIC from where it was battling for a playoffs spot to being ranked and playing for an NE-10 Championship. He is a great coach who cares about the program and his players."
"He has a built a great program that was a bottom tier and now one of the top programs in the nation. Not only has the team gotten better, but he has greatly improved the team culture and environment. "
"Had a great experience playing for Coach Perry during his first 3 years as Head Coach. He has taken the program from being a mediocre mid table side to challenging for titles and making a national tournament appearance. I had a lot of personal issues during my time and AIC but Coach Perry always had my back through all of it and pushed me to be better each day. He’s a great coach but also a great person."
"Luke Perry was a great coach and till this day I consider a great friend. Has top notch soccer IQ played at a very high level and has worked day in and day out to develop a strong program. He is a players coach, loves to get to know and develop a bond with his players. Manages to get the most out of them on and off the field. Proud to have taken part in his program and to see where it has gone since he's taken over the program."
"He shows too much favoritism to players.Doesn't prepare team correctly in the offseason or preseason.Doesn't know how to put players in the best position to be successful. Let's players walk all over him.Doesn't discipline players who fail to abide by the rules.Gives up on team when things aren't going well.Doesn't establish specific player roles."
