"In my experience, Coach Nataki Stewart is a coach who puts on a pretty face during recruitment, and is a completely different person once on the team. He heavily favors the players he considers to be the strongest on the team. If you aren’t one of those players, it can feel like he has ZERO interest in getting to know you or building any kind of relationship with you. His coaching style can also be extremely negative and discouraging. During games, he will repeatedly yell at and call out players, make rude comments, only to later tell them they had a decent or even good game, which was very confusing and frustrating. Communication is also a major issue. He frequently takes days to respond to messages, even when they involve something important like being sick, despite CONSTANTLY emphasizing how important communication is. Overall, his energy is super negative, and it doesn’t feel like he genuinely cares about his players’ well-being or development beyond what they can contribute on the field. It can feel like he is there to do his job as a coach rather than build a team culture where every player feels valued, supported, and cared about."
