"I played on the women's soccer team but I did get a secret tour one time of the Men's Ice Hockey facilities in Agganis area... let me just say i was floored. Men's hockey basically has their own complex (separate might I add from the women's hockey facilities). They have their own weight room and rink. I saw their locker room and it was so nice with a ping pong table, a coach, people could spend all day in there. Their nutrition station was way better than any of the other sports and their weight room was way more updated and nicer. Never sat right with me that the women had worse equipment and arena. "

"I never was coached under Amy but she was my teammate at Boston University. I am so jealous of anyone who gets to play for her! Amy was an unbelievable teammate. "There is only one field (Nickerson field) at BU for women's soccer, men's soccer, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse to share. In addition club teams practice on this field and any recreation events. For a Division I program, there should be a training facility and a gameday facility. Not to mention the field is turf. Turf wears out every 4-5 years and with that much foot traffic it becomes a hazard to athletes playing on it everyday. During my time at BU we had SO many ACL tears and knee injuries. My hypothesis was that it was because of the field. "

"He covered up sexual harassment in the women's soccer program for YEARS. Parents and players went to report various levels of abuse & he simply didn't care. This happened across many different sports. I truly don't know how he is still in a position of power. His job is to protect and keep athletes safe. He has failed to do that on so many levels. I love Boston University but for this man to still be kept around especially after the Alex Cooper documentary is a disgrace and major F U to all female athletes. "

"He is a old-school kind of coach. However, he needs to do better with adapting to what creates boot speed in the 2020 era. He is stuck in the old ways on how teams used to make speed pre-Covid, which is why BU has not been successful. Rowing aside he is a great person to know. Just not the most talkative if you try to talk to him outside of Rowing. Also, if you do not hit the team standard, you will be cut."
