"Having a great experience with her! She knows what she's talking about and is very caring and motivational. Only downside is that she cares so much she struggles to deliver bad news. Overall a great coach."
"I’ll never forget the verbal abuse Katie Cameron put my daughter through for 4 years! I’m still so bitter. I did address it to her via phone call, and she did quiet up for a little while before the claws came out again. My daughter was a star swimmer, going through a rough patch in her life, and sending her to Bryant for their swim team was a HUGE mistake!!! Her verbal abuse on front of my daughters colleagues was uncalled for. There are too many witnesses for this. Then Jerry, the swim asst, too was condescending. I had to get this off my chest as a mother. Katie Cameron was the biggest disappointment during my daughters time there. It still haunts me that I was not able to defend her since I lived far away. I just regret I never brought this to the faculty of the school. What was I thinking???!! "
"Disconnected from players, doesn’t care to build relationships at all. Plays mind games and is not straight up. We are expected to take feedback but she won’t. No value on mental health- it’s all about “mental toughness”. Team culture is great between the girls because we all feel the same way about the coach. "
"Coach Biggs cares a lot about the players off and on the field. He always makes sure to ask about our personal life and is extremely understanding when it comes to personal situations and extenuating circumstances that involve missing practice or being late to one. Coach Biggs has helped the program progress in many ways."
"No astroturf field so we were forced to either travel to another school’s facility to practice/play, or do so on a less than ideal surface. Great weight room and training room though. "
"Coach Merritt handled himself very well for a first time college head coach, especially transitioning from HS to college. I think he had a few bumps trying to gel with his new staff, but I think given the circumstances he had, he managed to get things done and improve as the year went on. I think he's a great recruiter."
"Honestly after having Brianna Roache as a head coach for two years I feel I did not learn anything under her coaching. She doesn’t demonstrate what it takes to be a coach. At times I felt she was still trying to learn the game of lacrosse herself. I felt she did not have any experience coaching at a division one level. She Wouldn’t take feedback. "
"Loved playing for Mary Burke. She's tough and demanding, but that's what you want out of a coach. Many things I learned from my 4 years at Bryant, I still apply to my life on a daily basis. "
"Katie Cameron is a well-rounded coach, who will happily push you out of your comfort zone. She is able to see a bigger picture, and thus, plans accordingly to ensure success. She is tough when she needs to be, but will know how to get a smile from you. Great coach! "
"Coach Gabriellie has been a great coach and mentor to me the last few year and I respect him deeply. It is apparent every single day that he cares about the process of improvement, winning, and certainly about all else, his players. "
"There is no loyalty, trust, help, support, or motivation on her end if you aren't on her good side. The team's new environment and moral sucks now. Good luck to future athletes"
"Shaunessy coached me for 4 years at Bryant University. Although she is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the game of Field Hockey, she lacks solid coaching skills. Instead of motivating and empowering her players, she breaks them down and tears them apart, driving extremely talented people out of the organization and the sport."
"Saucier does not know how to effectively coach a team. She has knowledge in the sport but cannot communicate to players exactly what she wants from them. Instead of instilling confidence and teamwork, she breaks players down and broke the team apart. She manipulates players, we lost a lot of talent on the team while I was there."
"Coach P pushes us to be the best teammates on and off the field that we can be. He knows each individual and what tactics to use to make them better. He has unbelievable passion for success which trickles down to his players. "
"A man who knows what he is talking about. He has experience in just about every situation. He will push his players hard and has a passion for winning. He deeply cares about all of his players and helping them grow in to men."
"Mitch Switzer is a young, power hungry coach that is way too inexperienced to be a division 1 head coach. He care way more about himself than his athletes and certainly picks favorites. He hired his also inexperienced friends as assistant coaches and ruined the track program at Bryant. 20 athletes quit during the 15-16 school year."
"Mitch is very knowledgeable in his specific event group (sprinters/hurdlers), and knows how to help them improve their times. However, he lacks many of the qualities you would expect to see in a head coach at the Division 1 level. He is a terrible communicator, can be unreasonable with his expectations of athletes during their free time, and he plays favorites very heavily, especially with who he takes to meets. He will take his favorite athletes to more competitive and far away meets."
"Shaunessy is an overall great person, she is very caring and genuine. However, she lacks some of the knowledge and decision making skills to be a successful coach at the Division I level. She wants the best for her players but doesn't always know how to effectively coach them to reach their potential. We have had a lot of talent on the team the past few years, however we have not been that successful because Shaunessy doesn't know how to effectively work with and use the talent given."
"Coach Katie has definitely helped me swim faster over the years, but unfortunately she does play favorites which is an extremely de-motivating factor about being on the team."
"Noah is very young and therefore fairly inexperienced, however despite his lack of experience he is very knowledgeable of running and nutrition as well. He is very passionate about running and his athletes and will work with people based on their different training needs. Noah has not been at Bryant very long and therefore there has been a couple issues that have come up, but with time those problems have worked themselves out. Training trips are awesome btw"
