"Coach Kulbis is serious about coaching, shows dedication to the team and is very invested in what he does in the weight room. There’s nobody like him."
"She is very misleading and not at all honest or critical of you. Gives no feedback and often ignores players. Entire coaching staff is awful and not knowledgeable at all. So much BS goes on behind the scenes. Talks badly about her players in front of them. "
"I had a good experience with the coach and he really made the team feel like it caters to all different types of athletes. He is very passionate about the sport and everyone on the team, no matter the skill level. However, with him being very passionate, there comes times when he focuses his attention on certain groups of people more than others. This focus is usually different day by day though, and it really depends on what is going on at practice. "
"Coach Del came along my sophomore year after I had experienced a freshman year of no heighting in the pole vault and helped me become a better jumper, teammate, and leader. Track and field is a tough sport mentally and i can count on coach Del to get me into a better headspace, ready to compete to the best of my ability. Very motivating but also understanding, and someone I credit much of my success on the runway to. "
"This coach couldn’t have cared less about me as an athlete and made me feel worthless. He has not only slut shamed women in meetings for an all-female team but also only cares about 8 of his athletes at a time. "
"There truly is no one better than Coach Helt. She not only is a coach, but a mentor and role model that truly develops her players. Her emphasis on the mental parts of the sport and the value of team work makes her players great performers and overall stronger people. I would not trade those days training under Coach Helt for the world. "
"Good guy who wanted the best for all his players. Definitely knew his stuff. Knew how to get the perfect balance between enjoying college and the experience/dedication of playing D1 lacrosse."
"Wirns is the man. Breathed life into me with a second chance. Great person with holistic values. Wants the absolute best for all his athletes and will do everything in his power to ensure you succeed on and off the mat. Pushes for success after graduation as well. - JC baby!"
"Old school coach. You have to be a tough player to play for him, or you will not see the field. Not always open to change but definitely knows what he's doing. Has trouble motivating players at times, especially at such a rigorous academic school."
"Coach Donner eats, sleeps, and breathes the sport. Whether it be researching race results or analyzing workouts he is constantly looking for ways to improve his program and athletes. What is special about his program is his focus on development. It is common for a few underrated freshmen to wind up as top-7 seniors. He loves to talk track/xc, you just have to be willing to approach him - don't be intimidated - the team is incredibly closeknit"
"Helped me to work on specific skills I needed to improve on. Also very honest in what u need to improve on for next year to get better/more playing time."
"Coach Donner is a great coach and really does care about the well-being of each and every athlete. He likes to make us all feel included and because of that we are one of the closest teams I've ever seen. However, he does put too much of an emphasis on winning and at times the amount of pressure can be overwhelming and quite unnecessary."
"Coach Kish wanted the best for the women and worked them to be there best. He addressed each fairly and watched over them from grades to conditioning to health. He is a very hard working coach. Stephen Kish is a great repersentitive of Bucknell University.2"
"Coach Kish cares a lot about his team beyond the sport of rowing itself and is passionate about building a team culture that goes beyond a win or a championship. He is willing to meet with anyone and talk through tough situations that come up both on and off the water, and is always looking to improve from year to year as a leader and builds positive relationships with his athletes over the course of their four years. He is direct and honest and level-headed; he's not someone who yells or gets angry in practice, but he is very focused and will make the most of every stroke on the water. He wants the best for every athlete and he pushes everyone to be their best. It's easy to tell he loves the sport of rowing and knows how to make boats go fast and relate life to the sport. "
