"Worst coach I’ve ever experienced. She abuses people mentally, physically, and verbally. She forced my teammates to play on their fresh injury/ play 100% just 2 weeks after surgery. She verbally tells girls on the team to isolate one girl because she personally doesn’t like her. She will mess with your mind to think she is the only trust worthy one in the program so she can get every piece of information about every player. She used personal information you tell her in confidence to degrade you during practice. She truly sees nothing wrong with her doings. There is a reason she has not had a winning season since she started coaching… She claims her culture is wonderful and uplifts women but it does the opposite. She forces the team against each other and makes the girls hate each other. I have lost my love for the sport I once loved more than anything because of this lady. The most disrespectful, manipulative, hypocritical woman you’ll ever meet. I would advise anyone wanting to play for her to redirect to another school. "

"Coach Barosso is a good coach in terms of developing athletes; however, he lacks the personable skills needed to connect with them. He becomes too involved in their personal lives, which has created a lot of drama on the team. It’s also clear that he prefers establishing positive relationships with the men’s team over the women’s. He tends to pick favourites and berate athletes he doesn’t like—sometimes even in front of the entire team. The team culture leans toward the toxic side, and very little is done when concerns are brought to his attention."

"Dishonest plain and simple deeply dishonest. Cares very little about player or coaches fitness levels. Quite possibly the least athletic group of players at a serious D1 level. Terrible communicator and awful culture in program. Literally the worst kind of characters that one could imagine during the past five seasons at the school. This has been confirmed by a number of recent girls that have been above average performers at the school. Obviously this has been fostered by Head and Co-Head Coaches."
