"John Klein was the worse coach, I ever had to deal with. I came to SEMO has a graduate player, I had an extra year to play d1 due to the Diego pavia ruling. This experience was a true nightmare, I was still waiting to get clear by the ncaa, he did not help or support my case with the compliance officer. I was certified with conditions ( meaning I need to add more paperwork to compete), he kick me off the team, and took my scholarships away. He told me that he never wanted me anyway and that he never had the intention to play me, that I need to grow up and get a job. I am an international student that just arrived in a new state, I did not know anybody and was left alone to deal with the situation. He does not care about his player at all, he already has his favorite pick from the beginning. His playing style is outdated. If you consider playing for him at Semo just run, this is not worth it even for a mid major d1. "

"I would HIGHLY not recommend playing for John Klein. During the spring season of 2025, he divided the team into three separate teams for fitness activities. He ACTUALLY called one of the teams, Team Immigrant. During the season, he again divided the team for fitness purposes. He called one of the teams, the fit group and the other team, the unfit group. He told players that if they weighed over 130 pounds, they were UNFIT to play soccer. He actually LITERALLY quit coaching during the second half of a game this past season and refused to talk to the team after the game. He was suspended for a game this past season for illegally scouting opposing teams in person. Also after a game, he told the players that they cared more about food than playing soccer. During an actual game, one player was allowed to talk to her mother on a cell phone while the game was actually being played. That was actually captured on video, "
