"Coach Rich is the kind of coach who genuinely puts his players first. During my time playing for him, he pushed me to grow not just as a lacrosse player, but as a person. He holds everyone to a high standard, but he’s always supportive and approachable, and you can tell he truly cares about the team and each individual on it. The culture he builds is one of trust, accountability, and connection, and it made coming to practice every day something I looked forward to. I’m grateful for the experience and for everything I learned playing for Coach Rich."
"Overall not a bad coach but will abandon you after one bad play or at any sign that you're struggling with school work. Watched multiple teammates get cut for being injured, which our school strictly prohibits. Also watched multiple teammates get embarrassed by him in front of the whole team.
"
"Genuinely the worst coach I have ever had. Doesn’t care at all about players mental health. Made me hate the sport of volleyball. 12 girls quit after the first 2 years of playing for her.
She is truly cruel in the way that she treats her athletes and projects her personal life problems onto the court. If you are considering Drury to play volleyball, I would strongly advise to consider elsewhere. "
"He was extremely rude to me and told me that I could not succeed outside of his program. Told me that D1 wasn't for me and that I should cancel my D1 visit to play in his ID camp instead. "
"horrible creep, shows favoritism, won’t speak to half the girls, talks about girls behind their backs to other players, talks about his hot wife. so much more! "
"Went from a terrible program to a great one with coach Reynolds at Drury (transferred in). He showed how much he cares about his athletes. Obviously knows the sport and what it takes to win, puts his team in a position to do that. "
