"My experience with Sandy Miller was terrible. Years later, I often reflect about the mind games she played. Starting rumors, bashing abilities, gaslighting and setting up an atmosphere do break women down and start a trend of disorders. I’m surprised to see that this women still is coaching. She’s a terrible coach and a terrible human being. Remember, what you do affects people. "
"Coach Xeni is by far the best coach I have ever had the opportunity to play for. Her love for the sport inspired me to pursue a similar career. In division 2 we talk a lot about what it means to be a full package student athlete but Xeni is the full package coach. She cares immensely about her players and has built a legacy and culture that alumni are proud to say they were a part of. When competing for a national championship there were countless alumni who traveled to MO and live streamed during their work day just to support. If you have the opportunity to be coached by her I would say yourself extremely lucky."
"Xeni is very passionate about the players and her team culture. These players work extremely hard on and off the field and it shows. thank you Xeni for all you do. "
"Coach Melfy does a great job getting you on board, and ready to work hard. She promises to be on your side, to help develop you both on and off the court. This is somewhat a lie, because she absolutely does this for certain players. But be careful, her honestly is not as consistent with players she doesn’t personally favor. She tends to favor players who kiss up to her, rather than players who have their own way of showing their dedication. I showed her my best effort in every aspect, however she never made me a priority. She blew off scheduled meetings with me multiple times, wouldn’t be honest about why I wasn’t earning playing time, and refused to accommodate for my disability. When she was called out on this behavior, she claimed I tried to get her fired, and cried in front of me and the athletic director. Any other player who called her out also received poor treatment, and she gossiped about previous players like a child. Her attitude was so unprofessional and I was appalled that ESU selected her as the head coach. "
