"As someone who spent time at fsc and played in the team, I can say that I would never reccomend to anyone and it is so hard not to just let recruits know when they came to this school. It starts off with the fact that he will do anything he can possibly do to make sure you only think about lacrosse. He doesn’t take advice from the team let alone captains and says one thing and does another without hesitation. Last time I checked, he’s been a loser his whole career. Doesn’t believe in rest and recovery. The only thing that keeps him here is his heritage and nobody wants to clean up the mess he created throughout the whole program. He claims that each freshman class should have around 12-15 but ends up taking 20-25+. Lies about scholarship money, lies to recruits about things that never take place. Also makes players work for free for his benefit in events unrelated to the school and program completely."

"Coach Ward does not care about the well being of his players and is a constant mental battle for the kids to come in every day and deal with him. He is turning the sport of lacrosse against kids that have grown up loving it and draining the kids physically with his pathetic practice plan that is not beneficial. To add the the coaching, one of the newer assistant coaches, coach clibanoff is a terrible role model and shouldn’t be coaching any sort of sport. He talks about the kids behind their backs to other players and can’t run an offense even with the talent that florida southern has. "

Makes belitting comments about players mental health. Voices out loud that she is only there for the money. Plays favorites and says disgusting things to those she does not favor. Leadership has been made aware of all of the above, and has done nothing. So glad my daughter is done here. The only positive is her knowledge of the game."

"Marty Ward is an abusive bully. He uses his position of authority to destroy athletes’ confidence, self-worth and emotional stability. He feeds off the power he has as the head coach and undermines the athletes at every opportunity. He does not promote a team atmosphere; he alienates players and then gaslights them by pretending he really cares about them as a further manipulation tactic. FSC should evaluate if this is who they want representing their school. This is not an individual that anyone could look up to. The only reason I gave this coach a rating of 1 was because 0 was not a choice. "

"The pool is alright, it definitely gets the job done. It is on the smaller side so when were practicing there are a lot of people sharing lanes. I wouldn't say it's state of the art or anything but we are the only ones that use it and have first priority. We have our own locker room, close to the pool so it's easy for practice. "

"Our gym is pretty big especially with both bleacher sides pulled out. The design is a little out to date but it's not that bad. The locker rooms are underneath the gym so it's easy access and the training room is just down the hall from the locker rooms. All in all I like the facility a lot. "
