"Coach Griffin doesn't invest the time to communicate with all his players and doesn't give them the on-going feedback they need to develop organically. His attention span is extremely limited and at the first mistake players make, instead of taking the time to mentor and coach them, he pushes them away, killing their self-esteem. He doesn't care about players beyond his starting 11 and just a handful more. All the others are literally on their own and getting humiliated in front of the team by his behaviors. His changing coaching jobs so frequently speaks volumes about his inability to invest in players long-term and make connections. He is a good coach technically, but very bad emotionally and in the ability to make connections with players. He doesn't inspire his players and doesn't motivate them. "
"very knowledgeable about the sport and kind, he knows how to bring a team together. one of the best recruiters i have ever seen in person and it has been a pleasure to work with him this past year"
"The best around. Has notable experience with MLB players and college athletes. Just a great coach to be around and overall would recommend to anyone wanting to be their best selves. Also the hardest worker you’ve ever seen."
"Although sara has retired from coaching, she was an amazing coach and developed athletes beyond the track in academics, careers and interpersonal skills. Sara personalized training to the individual and cared deeply about each person. She always had a lot on her plate but if you do your part she will go above and beyond for you. Although I was never injured long term, Sara didn’t lose track of the athletes in recovery and made sure they stayed on track to get better me tally and physically. Sara was accommodating with academics and scheduling issues as well. Sara was not available 100% of the time but when she was at practice she was 100% present. If Sara was still coaching today I would recommend to anyone who is self-sufficient but still wants a knowledgable and supportive coach."
"Coach Nollan is one of the most intelligent and caring coaches I have ever played for. He has put so much work into this program to build it and is not daunted by failure. He takes it as a challenge to try different approaches and I constantly see him striving to learn more, just as he encourages us to do. He truly cares for his players on and off."
"She is one of two of the greatest coaches I've had. Very knowledgeable about the game of beach volleyball and also cares highly of our academics and that we are doing well in the classroom! "
