"Players come last with him, far below his own sense of coaching brilliance and his love affair with the offense we run. Unwilling to adjust and change, and disinterested in players’ honest feedback. Whatever you do, don’t give him honest feedback even if he acts sincerely interested - it will be held against you forever! Hard to be inspired and play your hardest for such an uncaring person."

"Stuck in the 1980s. Insists on an outdated, uninspiring brand of basketball. Constantly shifting lineups and player roles with absolutely no awareness of (or concern for?) how disruptive it is to the overall health of team morale and success. Very erratic with personal relationships — you just don’t know what you’re going to get from him on any given day. Years of experience don’t always equal quality of experience — look elsewhere for better coaching leadership and pedigree. "
