"I had my overnight visit at hope college back in spring of 2019 and it was an amazing experience. The hosts were very inclusive and welcoming. My parents were invited for my day visit in the fall of 2019 but I went by myself to the overnight gig. I could get a feel for the team dynamic and the coaches were very nice as well. The trip made me come to my decision real quick of where I wanted to swim in college, and that was hope. At the time in the fall I was still keeping my options open but after my overnight visit in the spring it helped me come to my decision that’s where I wanted to spend my next four years. "
