"Old school Mentaility. Very his way or the highway type of coach. Booster donation driven to play certain players when do not elevate overall team performance or team atmosphere. Only interacts with players when he feels its will benefit the team or issue that is perceived by media etc. Will period lie to players but want to have an public faced that he cares for players. He really does not even care for his overall team being slightly over .500 to maintain his job. He would rather play certain players whom will not win or necessarily lose a game for team who are just ok. But not play certain players who members of the staff and players know that are better overall. Bias Coaching ! Certain players lose RS years just to play special teams. Then become quality contributing starters whom could have had an extra year but lose a year due to poor decisions to monitor player development in regards to developing a year after year playoff team like the Dakotas. Bias on playing players just on special teams and no offensive or defensive game play. "
"Respectful to players as well as parents. Demands players best in all aspects and can get the best out of players just the way he approach them on and off the field no matter what the situation."
"Showing effort, energy and hard work are her biggest principals. If you do those things well, you will enjoy her. Very honest about things and approachable even if it is not basketball related. "

"Ego coach. Will bench players whom challenge him on the simplest thing. Vendetta type coach and very grudgeful . Does not get along with other coaches . Gets along with very few players whom buddy up with him. "
"Part One
Coach Bovee recruited me as one of his top recruits as a distance runner. I ran cross country and tack for the women’s team at Illinois State University. I was involved in a very minor “incident” my freshman year about a month or so in to my first semester at ISU. My roommate at the time had shared an experience to the coach along with other teammates about me and another teammate of ours had that involved two shots of gin in the dorms, bowling on campus, eating at diner, and ended the night by walking back to the dorms. It was my first interaction with alcohol on campus ever. It was a fun and silly night of two girls bonding over something we thought was very college like. Somehow this college experience got back to my coach, and somehow it was made into a huge deal without him ever coming to me and that other teammate who had that that “college-like experience”. We were told we would have to talk to him individually later that day me and this girl realized what this was about coming to the conclusion that only my roommate would know about that night because she saw us leave the dorms. We told her what we were gonna do and we told her what we had done, me, and this girl were friends with my roommate (although I can say my roommate was jealous bc of me and this other teammate of ours bonding).
