"Does not know the rules of the game, nor how to positively motivate. Practices were boring and lots of sitting in line. Many of us quit mid-year. Definitely had favorites and treated players differently. Does not possess the knowledge or composure to coach at high level. "
"He really knows the game and is passionate about it but doesn't care for anyone besides like 3 starters and heavily favorites them. Example: a starter didn't pass a fitness test but still started and played every game after he said there would be "no exceptions." He is also very hard to talk to and likes to compare you to others. A nice and funny person outside of soccer, but not when it really matters. "
"He talks a lot about what his team can provide, yet rarely delivers on his word. He talks about having a unified and positive team environment yet often the team can be very divided with the help of some of his actions, or lack thereof. Many of his recruits feel burned out and leave within a season or so, including almost an entire class. Practice schedule includes 4 doubles a week yet very little focus on strength and endurance training. In summary, he knows a lot about the sport itself, but sometimes his practices try to do too much that it isn’t beneficial and his personal prejudices sour the experiences and opinions of the team and the sport itself while those that are favored are treated better than anyone who is not. "
"Makes promises he can’t keep
Will tell you there will be scholarship money for you only for it all to be gone when the time comes for you to get it
Picks favorites
Double standards with rules
Cares more about the team than the individual
Recruits more grad students and focuses on them instead of freshman
Practices are not effective and are outdated
Heavy distance focused team
Sometimes holds prejudice against athletes
Will go out of his way for some athletes but hardly do anything for others"
"Coach B definitely knows the game especially from her experience playing DII. She pushes you on and off the field. She is always in her office to talk and she will spend her free time for weekly academic meetings. Coach B truly cares about all her players and wants what is best for them."
"My coach is very motivational and her knowledge of the game is very impressive. She helps whenever and however she can. She is always there for every person on our team. "
