"She does dismiss players who aren’t her starters and still expect you to put your all into every practice. She’s not really straight with you when it comes to questions about playing time or your standing on the team. She does seem to care about her players though, particularly in the classroom as well as on the court. "
"Coach Jeff has been a coach that I feel comfortable reaching out to no matter what. During my time on the team he was an outlet that allowed me to reach out about anything and anticipate honest and constructive criticism. Even after school, when I was off the team he gave me time to talk about my career and thoughts about where I should focus my efforts based on my strengths and weaknesses. Coach Jeff is exactly what a program needs when it comes to reaching out to alumni and fundraising for the team. From a recruiting standpoint, Jeff seems to get it right. As D3 small school in Cleveland OH, I’m not sure it’s an easy sell for golfers that want to come and play given the elements 5 months of the year. The effort put into recruiting and fundraising is top notch and something I very much respect after my career. His passion for the game of golf is unmatched. He also allows for reality. We’re college kids and we want to have fun. He created an environment where I could focus on develop relationships with my teammates off the course. As long as we put 100% into golf what we did away from the course was ok and just looked the other way. But he made the consequences known. To be honest, the negatives are hard to come by for the reason that I’m not sure what decisions made were his say given that there was another coach on the team making final decisions. Overall, I was always comfortable talking to him no matter the rank on the team or my role on the team. He trusted his leaders and wanted the best for the team. And from what I see, getting the players on todays team to practice any way he can, again given the elements of Cleveland OH, is something that any coach should be applauded for. "
"During my time at John Carroll playing golf, Jeff was very knowledgeable and a supportive coach. He helped a lot in critical situations whether it was advice on club selection or general course management. Jeff’s style of coaching is unique because he is not in your grill, but is there to help with anything going wrong with your game. Knowing everyone plays different and has different processes, I valued his style of coaching. "
"The best thing I can say about Coach Jeff is that he cares. There’s never a doubt in that aspect. Whether we’re playing a match against each other, or it’s the first hole of a tournament, or the last hole, Coach Jeff tries his hardest. Without question. He’s accountable, honest, and believes in you as long as you have put in the work. Simply put, he’s going to pull his weight (and then some) and help put the team in position to win. He’s one of the best coaches I’ve ever had and when I’m back in Cleveland, I cannot wait to catch up with him, whether that’s on the course or off. He’s a leader and a great man. "
"Priorities are very clear. Loves the game to the core. Up to speed with the golf word and is great is thinking of new ways to improve your game. Could be more in tune with players personalities, play styles, and career intentions post graduation"
"This Coach does not respect each player. He is unorganized & doesn't recruit well.He has only recruited 1 goalie for this season. He isn't a fair person or coach. A poor team culture."
"This woman is abusive, both mentally and physically. She is a groomer, broke my friend’s ribs, and should not be around young adult women and persons who play sports. "
"Coach Behrman is not only a great coach but he is a great man. He puts the players before himself and has really turned the Union football program around 360. He has a fantastic offensive mindset that led to a Liberty League Championship in 2019. "
"Coach Jeff is a knowledgeable coach with a passion for the game of golf. He has experience with success in his past and a drive to get the team in the winners circle. He has reasonable expectations from his players, but could be more vocal. He cares about the team and the teams’ success and cares for his players. There may need to be more clarity with practices and the organizational structure with how scores weigh, but he is analytical and ultimately wants the best for the team. "
