"The culture under this coach shifted toward a 'numbers first' approach that hurt us both on and off the field. After the team GPA dropped, instead of supporting us, he pressured players to change to 'easier' majors like Sports Leadership just to satisfy higher-ups. Now, many transfers feel trapped—they can't leave without losing credits and they can't quit the team without losing their entire social circle. On the field, we were essentially a glorified cross-country team with pads. He expected perfection in impossible conditions; I remember being forced to run endlessly because we couldn't catch or throw when it was freezing and our mesh was literally frozen solid. He prioritized conditioning over actual lacrosse skill and player health, which completely drained the joy of the game. It’s a program where you feel like a statistic, not an athlete."
