"I played for Kyle. When Kent beat Ohio State, she bought us donuts as a gift, little did we know we would have the hardest practice of the season for the sole point of us throwing up if we ate the donuts. It was a torture game rather than a team atmosphere. She also had an affair with another D1 coach who was fired and got his wife deported because of it. Glad she was fired and hopefully never gets to coach a team again."
"Kyle is downgrading and the worst coach I have ever had to experience. Kyle does not care about your health, feelings, or anything about you as a person. She will lie to get you to go to her school and only care for international players. And oh yeah, shes probably having an affair with another coach from a different school..."
"Creates a terrible team culture by putting athletes against one another. The most immature and demeaning person I have ever met. Many of us struggle with anxiety and trauma from the consistent bullying we experienced day in and day out from Kyle and other members of the coaching staff. She does not care about anyone except herself and cares more about how she looks/what she’s wearing than her players well being. Myself and many others do not even play anymore because she took everything that we loved about the sport and crushed it. "
"-Bad morals and character
-Puts internationals on a pedestal at the expense of Americans who are just as talented
-Does not value recruiting players with good character. Creates terrible team culture
-Is EXTREMELY dishonest
-Does not follow through on commitments to team
-Nor does she retain good players and have the best interest for the future of Kent State field hockey "
"Coach Wilson has done an incredible job creating a Womens Div III Golf team at Wesleyan. Just starting with one player who would play with the mens team, he was able to recruit players and have a true team in the NESCAC in a couple short years. He is kind, compassionate and knows the game well! Thank you to Coach for being there for our daughter!"
"James Croft took a sub-par team at Kent State and turned it into a healthy, fast, growing program. He is fun, caring and is 100% the coach for you if you want to be part of something special."
"My Coach is very understanding and hard working. He always cares about the team and outs the players needs first. He is a successful Coach whose won Championships and overall creates a great environment for all the players. He bases the school environment not just off of soccer but wants us to excel in the classroom as well. Its a great balance!"
"Kyle was a great recruiter and lied through her teeth to get you to come to her school. She only cares about the foreign players and not about the American girls she recruits. She does not care if you get hurt or aren’t doing well. Many girls have quit or transferred because of her and it’s taking too long for action to be taken. This is a broad summary of what she has done. A girl I was in a class with had to see a therapist and was diagnosed with anxiety, an eating disorder, PTSD, and depression. She hasn’t touched a stick since."
