"Not a good experience mentally and athletically. The program lacked leadership, accountability, and any promotion of positive team culture. Players were frequently criticized on both their physical and mental characteristics rather than being developed and supported. There was little to no encouragement, mentorship, or genuine care for the athletes’ well-being. Even the athletic director who hired the coach left, leaving the program with what appeared to be no accountability or oversight. Based on my experience, not a single player related they would have committed to this program had they known what the environment would be like. The coach’s reputation and the culture within the program left many athletes feeling unsupported and negatively affected their confidence and mental well-being. Rather than fostering growth, accountability, and teamwork, the program deteriorated under this leadership. Team culture collapsed, athletes transferred or left, and the experience fell far short of what was promised. In my opinion, the university failed its student-athletes by allowing this environment to continue. Huge let down for both the players and the program."

"When playing for kirk it was a horrible environment. I thought I could trust her and went to her to talk about my mental health. Later down the line her and the head coach used it against me. I also quickly became a target at practice. I was sat out during multiple practices with no explanation. I also was called out in front of the team many of times, putting a target on my back. Playing for her was overall not a good experience. It was consistently negative and there was no positive feedback. If you are looking to play for her be aware, at the start she started nice until all of a sudden something changed and it was like the team was walking on eggshells. "

"Potential athletes please be aware of Coach Kirk. She has been at 3 schools in as many years. She left Furman right before the season started and left Xavier after 1 season and now is at LaSalle. She is not kind to her players, very degrading and pits players against each other. She does not motivate her players and takes all of the joy out of the game. "

"I’m sorry but did no one do their homework on this coach?! These girls don’t deserve this for their college athletic experience. Zero empathy, nasty negative reinforcement, and mental manipulation that young athletes cannot and should not be dealing with. These young women should be supported and work hard playing the sport they love. "
