"Mark is a great coach and a great guy. Some things he teaches, I question, but I know he does everything with the betterment of his players in mind. Goofy guy, but fun goofy, the kind that makes practices fly by and you have a goofy time while doing the not so fun stuff in practice. Really cares about his players, goes above and beyond when players are sick, injured, even things like broken washing machine, to help his players. 9/10 coach (kinda old school in his methods) but 10/10 person!"

"Wasn’t good at treating his athletes as people first. Only really cared about how the team made him look. Didn’t care about athletes mental state just cared about how they performed. Very knowledgeable of cross country and distance running and below average in building team culture."

If you try to speak with him about a concern it is always a sales pitch to get you to stay for the betterment of the team but within a half a season with him as the head coach, the team is becoming disjointed with so much frustration and people who don’t want to be there anymore."
