"No winning seasons in 5 years as the head coach. LA Tech deserves better. The few wins each year are in spite of not because of the current coaching leadership. The team 30 miles down the road is conference champions in the Sun Belt. It’s time for a leadership change and new direction. Soccer can succeed at LA Tech and now is the time to make it happen."

"I have no clue how he is still the head coach. He needs to be removed immediately. He recruits girls that don’t make an impact on the field. He doesn’t understand soccer very much. The assistant coach does most of the scouting. If you go to talk to Steve about soccer you don’t get much out of it. When he recruits you, he pushes mental health and team community. He really sells you with his speech. I think he’s a good guy, just not a good coach. He’s kinda easy to push around. You can’t take him too seriously because you don’t really respect him. Unfortunately I think he just needs to be fired because the program hasn’t been very good the past three years. He isn’t good with current players. He gets really excited about the new players coming in because he believes they can make more than impact in the current players. He’s lost two freshmen of the year to the transfer portal because he doesn’t get along with them and makes them feel not needed. In fact he’s lost many girls to the transfer portal and to people quitting because they’re unhappy here with his coach coaching the school and the environment. Fitness testing is huge and he would lie about other players scores so he can get them on the field instead of holding people accountable. Makes it hard to trust him when you find that out."

"This man is one of the worst people I’ve ever known. He spoke badly about his staff behind their backs, and just in general other awful comments, especially against women. He cultivated an environment where he constantly pitted other people against each other and never encouraged anyone. This man is emotionally and verbally abusive. I truly hope he has changed, but I doubt it. "

"Played with him and he was a coach already as a catcher. I was drafted twice MLB and JUCO National Title in 03’. Cooper is a legend in Vegas baseball community. "
