"Dictator style of coaching. Dishonest and forces players to play hurt. Threatens pulling scholarships, punitive running, and is protected by the athletic administration. "
"
Head coach at Austin Peay State is absolutely a horrible coach and even worse person. Mentally abusive to players, coaches and personnel. Creates a very toxic and negative environment. Is very disrespectful to players and staff. Does not believe in any of her players, is only out to win at any cost creating a very negative environment. Encouraging players to quit constantly, telling them they will never play here and to look elsewhere. Definitely does not play her best players, record speaks for itself. Stay away from this program until a new coach is in place. Sadly a great school whose keeping an awful coach who stands for nothing the school portrays itself to be"
"Creates toxic environment that is unhealthy for athletes’ mental and physical health and wellbeing. Plays favorites and targets athletes she doesn’t like. Stay away."
"This coach was reported for multiple NCAA violations during my time at the university, multiple of which I experienced and/or saw written proof of. I have interacted with multiple other DI coaches who knew that Tom Chorny was my coach and showed concern for me — this program has a reputation across multiple NCAA DI teams and conferences for having large numbers of athletes injured/unable to compete."
"Save yourself and don’t commit to this college. She ignores you when you have a slow race. Her workouts do not make you faster, they make you slower. Does not get along with other female athletes."
"Plays her favorites, regardless of what is best for the team and then later on makes excuses for the select few. At practices, put those players above everyone else"
"Always puts the players before himself. Super approachable and has a smile 24/7. Works out with the team and is always striving to make a healthy and competitive team culture. "
"Had a wonderful first experience with coach Hollie, however as time went on most of the team including myself realized she had no intention of keeping to tradition and set goals for her own selfish desires. Her selfish ambitions shadowed her knowledge for the sport. Overall very disappointed with the experience."
"Coach knew a lot about the sport and had a credible background, but she had no sense of leadership or respect for her athletes or assistant coaches. She puts on a great first impression but falls short when following through with promises. She also puts on a great show for the athletic department, but is truly only self-serving. "
