"This was a really frustrating experience. The coach often came across as demeaning and disrespectful toward players. Instead of building a strong team, his attitude and decisions ended up causing tension and pushing teammates apart. It was disappointing to see a team fall apart because of poor leadership."

"I tried to transfer to another school because I hated my experience on his team. I transferred to a junior college to play for 2 years. I was on his Jv team and participated in 2 non sanctioned games where no stats were taken under Gregg Suave at Northwood University. When I transferred to my new school, the Athletic director sent a letter to Suave to confirm I still had an extra year of eligibility. For no reason at all, Gregg Suave denied my extra year of playing for a different school just because he felt like it. My new coach fought for months to try and get me that year of eligibility back but could not because of him. I missed out on being able to play another year of sport i have dedicated so much of my time to because of him. He is an awful human for that. And I know there are multiple girls who have played for him can agree. "
"In my experience, the situation felt very personal and extremely disappointing. Decisions seemed to come more from a place of ego and entitlement rather than fairness or genuine concern for the players. Because of this, a teammate ended up being removed from the team in a way that felt unnecessary and poorly handled. Instead of demonstrating leadership, understanding, and professionalism, the situation reflected a lack of judgment and maturity. Coaches play an important role in shaping young athletes’ experiences, and unfortunately this experience showed a clear lack of the guidance and responsibility that players deserve."
"In my experience, the coaching style created an environment that felt discouraging rather than supportive for the players. Communication often came across as demeaning and lacked empathy, which can be damaging for young athletes who are still developing confidence and skills. Instead of bringing the team together, the leadership seemed to create division among the players. A strong team should be built on respect, encouragement, and unity, but unfortunately that sense of teamwork was missing. Overall, it was disappointing to see a group of athletes with potential struggle in an environment that did not promote positive development or team cohesion.
I feel bad for the girls on this team such a bad situation! This was supposed to be a fun, exciting experience and he made it not."
