"At 1st I was like what is he and the other assistants doing and started questioning myself and ability. Then it all made sense and clicked. He will find your lane. I needed to get out of my head and out of these old ways with old style of moving. Once I knew the game of the lane. It's now what I truly know to link up. I can play with confidence cuz i know my true role. Changed everything about my position and now going to play college in VA."
"we met him this summer in california and I was very nervous and once we met him and he made us play at ease and helped me with my ball work and overall was a very positive week and took a photo with him and will keep it for memory and my dad said he was part of a long time soccer coach history so was not only a very cool coach but also helped me in my game of playing confidence that i will take with me"
"He is a dishonest person. Should never be in education. Was put in his current position at Penn State by his boss who protects him from his mistakes. He is degrading to women and is intimidated by strong male coaches. Stay away from this place until the current administration leaves. It is a really poor place for student athletes. He never resigned from his last position at McDaniel College....very mysterious as to why he left a Divisinon III school to a PSU USCAA school....very interesting??????"
"Coach sparked this new passion for the game. Feel like we in the best shape of our lives to perform. Interesting guy and uses his experiences and is patiently direct. He really wants the team to succeed. Morning practices really stink though, but some guys enjoyed that>?. Changed me to work hard and leave it all out on the field. Fun to be around, but can get intense in training."
"Passionate about the game. He know the systems. Fit me properly in my role. Where I belonged from the beginning. Team culture was memorable to say the least."
"Coach always pushing us to get better as one. Best playing shape of my life. Will miss him. We have guys from around the world and he came in and made it work. "
"Regularly changed our team's structure until we got it right. Took time, but worth the attempts I would say. Fanatical about consistently playing short to open plays... Taught my back line to numerical overload by having more passing options than the total number of our opponent's team. Few fellas a bit frustrated because they didn't possess the touch needed for the style to be effective. Would say under the average college style players had a rubbish time adapting at first, the real game out of their reach, but they needed to play the game as be.. As a Keeper, he's obsessed with I being capable of hitting long, accurate passes because of the options it opened up for us. Repetition was all day. This grew into me in Europe that way, easy for I to adapt. Would say his strategies were built on our players’ qualities, that is perhaps Kershaw greatest strength. Big on healthy nosh and daily warm ups and downs. Good lad, excited for the guy."
"Thankfulto have been under his daily guidance before he got called up to the pro level. Gave me the vision to find a scholarship and helped out the team with a new style that was intense. Feel like i can play anywhere now. Focused n Cool guy. "
"1st 2 weeks the most intense of my soccer life. Then, it all paid off. Good Understanding of individual players strengths for our whole system to work. Challenged me with my weaknesses to improve. AlAllows players to shine in position."
"He completely changed my unseen ability to move to the next level. Gave us the perfect routine to get us into our top playing ability. Organized us into a machine. Great times with him. "
"Very weird guy. Like to work on team bonding a lot. He’s a great guy on and off the field, but can get intense during practice. He once had me speak to a relative of his, who spoke almost no English. Most awkward moment of my life."
"He was a good guy but bad coach. Felt as if he gave up on us at the end of the season because he kept canceling practices and never responded to emails or texts. We had to find out he quit from the AD instead of him telling us himself. "
"Very passionate about what he does, cares deeply about the game of soccer. Can sometimes come across as tough but he’s a super nice guy when you get to know him."
